While new schools can always be difficult, Sim Jake was managing it all pretty well. He got up the first day of school with a smile on his face, there were so many things he wanted to do this year. He wanted to join the soccer team, work more on his credits and grades rather than dating and popularity. He wanted this year to be, normal and drama-free.
He walked into the school with an easy-going attitude, just letting himself be himself. Which is when he saw him...
A boy with a white cane and metal-framed silver circular sunglasses. He walked at a somewhat slow pace letting his cane walk an inch or two ahead of him, he stopped at his locker.
"Hey!"
A boy yelled as he slammed against the locker next to the boy in sunglasses, who flinched at the sound and kept his eyes on his locker.
"You're supposed to look at me when I talk to you."
He chuckled.
"But I mean, I guess you can't. Can you?"
He asked in a cocky tone, that's when Jake felt realization hit him.
...he's blind
Jake felt himself scoff as he walked toward the scene. 'How could you pick on someone for something they can't control?' That was all the boy could think as he gripped the collar of the bullies shirt causing him to scoff.
"Who the hell are you?"
"Your worst nightmare."
Jake replied which caused the other boy to chuckle.
"Real funny. But seriously, I'm Lim Jimin. Nice to meet you."
Jake hated how calm the boy was. When he glanced at the other kid he saw how he kept his eyes on his locker and trembled a bit.
"If I ever see you next to him again. I swear to you I will pull out all your teeth, one by one."
Jake growled. No one had ever stood up to Jimin, everyone usually stayed away from him, and just let him do whatever he want. So now that Jake was doing it, he was terrified. But he wouldn't show it.
"Whatever."
He spoke sarcastically before Jake let him go.
"Go."
Jimin practically ran off and Jake stayed to make sure the boy was okay, but he didn't know what to say, so he just scratched the back of his neck. 'He might not even know I'm here.' Jake thought
"I know you're there..."
A soft voice spoke in a quiet tone, his words making Jake awkward laugh.
"O-oh... umm... I'm Jake"
The other boy didn't move his face, he just stared at his locker the whole time.
"...I'm Sunghoon"
His voice was 'calm, quiet, and very cute' at least, that's what Jake thought.
"...t-thank you for... helping me out..."
Sunghoon said as he closed his locker gently and attempted to walk away. Unfortunately for him though, Jake didn't want him to go just yet.
"W-wait!"
Sunghoon paused in his place now facing the floor.
"Wanna be friends?"
Jake said with a smile. Sunghoon could hear the said smile in his words from a mile away, and while Jake seemed nice, he automatically let his mind fill with
