Olivia's pov
A confortable silence fills the car while Amelie drives. I can't believe that it's been an hour since I met her and I feel more safe with her than with my ex. I mean that's not hard at all tho.
"Don't you have any cd or radio or just..i mean some nice songs to listen to?" I suggest looking at the car.
There's a cross hanging on the rearview. The steering wheel is a bit bigger than the ones I'm used to and the seats have a hard leather that is somehow comfortable.
"U bored, already, Rodrigo? This is going to be a 3 long days trip on the road considering that we stop here and there to eat and sleep." She reminds me.
"I know. It's ok. And how could I get bored when I have someone by my side that won't stop making dad jokes?!" I chuckle.
"HeY! They are not dad jokes! They are good jokes! I've read it on a book! Come on, you love them!" Amelie looks at me with a smirk.
"You wanna hear this one?"I shake my head. "Go ahead. I know you'll tell me anyway."
"Alright..soo..What did the Jedi say to the cowboy?" She glances over at me with an excited smile.
I shrug.
"May the horse be with you!!"
Amelie laughs on her own and I bite my lip and try my best to actually not laugh."You're so bad!!"
"Oh come on, I know you want to laugh! You can laugh! What about this one! How do you warm up a frozen cowboy?...Yee thaw!"
With that joke I burst into laugher.
"Shut up! That's...terrible! I mean..it's not even funny!"
I shout making some exaggerated gestures with my hands."Then why you laughing, uh?!" Amelie raises her eyebrow.
"Due to your stupidity!" I laugh out loud, cleaning the corner of my eye full of laughing tears. "Alright so...where's the cd?"
"You can take the cassette out of the glove box." Amelie points at it.
"Wait what? This works with cassettes?!" I exclaim surprised, opening the glove box seeing a little book with documents, some lost polaroid pictures, another cross necklace and one single cassette.
I grab it and try to figure it out how to play it.

Amelie's pov
I furrow my eyebrows looking at Olivia trying to find out how a cassette works. I chuckle.
"Here." I grab her hand softly. "You just have to push it into this hole and ta-da." I flap my left hand for a silent clap while my other hand holds the steering wheel.
"Ohhh cool!" She looks at it like I just did some magic trick. "It basicly works like a cd but..different at the same time. God I love this song!"
Uptown girl by Billy Joel starts playing.
"I know. I love it too! It's a classic!" I agree, singing along.
"I'm sorry but can I ask how old is this car?" Her fingers run through the door.
"It's an audi quattro from 1981. It's from my grandfather. He loved this baby. This headlights have seen every piece of land of England. I know it's old and outdated but I love it. I could never get rid of it..at least as long as it can drive." I show Rodrigo a nostalgic smile.
"Aw. That's very sweet. I wish I had my own car." A pout appears on her face and I look at her in shock.
"What do you mean you wish you had your own car? Aren't you like...famous? Or did I've misread it wrong, uh? When you actually just sing for your mother and brothers?" I tease her, giggling.
