As you were walking through the city, you quickly noticed that everything has become ominous. All technology has stopped working and there are coffins everywhere.
You kept on walking and made sure that no one or thing is following yourself.
"This thing has been happening every night for years," you thought to yourself. "These creatures end up appearing every midnight for an hour. I think the ones facing apathy syndrome have had their minds eaten or something by these monsters. Whatever it is, I'm going to find out."
You then heard someone yelling, and you knew it meant there's someone who's awake.
"Oh no. There's someone else here!"
You ran towards the sound and saw Yukari fighting against a swarm of monsters.
Yukari: "Stay back! All of you!"
The creatures got closer, and you grabbed a pistol-like device and aimed it at your head.
"Persona!" you yelled before firing the device, causing a creature with chained arms and floating swords that form a pair of wings to appear.
"Icarus!"
After the being slayed the creatures, you headed for Yukari to check on her.
"Yukari! Are you hurt?"
Yukari: "No."
"Okay, but what the heck are you doing here? How are you awake?"
Yukari: "That's what I would say to you if I hadn't seen your persona."
"So I'm not the only one who calls it by that name. Wait, does that mean you have one too?"
Yukari: "Yes, but it's still pretty hard for me to summon mine."
"Because of the part where you're supposed to enact a suicide move?"
Yukari: "Yep."
"Can't say I blame ya. So, what brings you here? Investigating the spike in Apathy Syndrome cases as well?"
Yukari: "Sort of. I'm working with others to find out the cause and source for the Dark Hour."
"Dark Hour? That's the name you gave this phenomenon? Because that's very appropriate. Wait, there are others with Personas?"
Yukari: "Yes. The dorm I live in, it's been constructed to be a base for our operations in the city. Since you're a persona user, then maybe you should join us. If you've been investigating this, that saves us the trouble of having to explain it."
"To be honest," you sighed, "I'm getting nowhere with finding out the source of this Dark Hour, so if you're offering to help me find it, then who am I to complain?"
Yukari: "Good. It's been 50 minutes since it started, we should head to the dorm before everyone wakes up."
"Good idea. Don't want to explain why I'm holding a pair of blades and you're holding a bow with actual arrows."
Yukari: "Took the words right out of my mouth. Let's go."
As the two of you left the area and headed to the dorm Yukari is staying in, the Dark Hour ended and everything went back to normal.
"That's a load off my mind," you commented.
Yukari: "Yep. So, you ready to meet the others?"
"I'm ready."
Yukari nodded, and the two of you went inside the dorm.
