You and Gojo faced each other outside. The wind was a cool breeze, but it wasn't too chilly for you. You stretched and slipped your hoodie off, leaving you in a tank top.

Gojo grinned at his students. "See how she's getting ready? I don't do that. I'll win no matter what."

You scowled. "Stop talking and let's get to it."

"Actually," Yaga interrupted, "let's not do this."

Gojo groaned. "Aw, I was about to prove I was the best!"

"We need a Special Grade sorcerer and at least a Grade Two for a mission," Yaga said, giving Gojo a pointed look. "It's quite urgent."

"I'll go," you volunteered. "I've been feeling restless."

"You've been here for six hours," Yaga tiredly reminded you. He crossed his arms and shifted weight between legs. "And you're not trusted to be on your own anymore."

Gojo slung and arm over your shoulder. "What if I take her? You can trust me, right?"

Yaga's forehead creased. "The two of you are perhaps the people I would like working together the least. Not only are you both irresponsible, but you constantly try to kill each other."

"What?" Gojo gasped. "When has that ever happened?"

"You're currently strangling her."

It was true. Gojo's harmless arm across your shoulder had turned into an arm wrapped around your neck. You were struggling for breath, kicking your legs out desperately.

"Oops." Gojo didn't look sorry as he released you. You stumbled away and tried to slap him, but his fingers curled around your wrist as he clicked his tongue.

"You son of a bitch!" you spluttered as you rubbed your throat. "I'm going to kill you!"

Gojo scoffed. "Like you could even touch me."

"Anyways," Yaga interrupted, "this is fairly urgent. Gojo-"

"Please!" You clasped your hands together as you begged. "Please let me go! I'll behave! I won't even kill anyone that I'm not supposed to!"

Yaga sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. "Fine. You can both go. I'll send you the details."

"Yay! Thanks!" You started skipping away, throwing Gojo a glance over your shoulder. "Come on, loser!"

"You're gonna be the loser once I-" Gojo cut himself off and waved goodbye to the others, forcing a smile. "See ya."

"So what's this curse like?" You kicked an empty bottle and watched it roll away. "What do we know?"

"We don't know much. Two sorcerers have entered this building. Neither have exited." Gojo stared up at the building, brow furrowed. "Something's not right."

You hummed cursorily and looked to him. "What do you mean?"

"This curse is good at hiding its cursed energy. I can't see any." Gojo played with the edge of his blindfold, nearly pulling it off. He let his hand fall to his side. "I can't see any."

"Six Eyes can't pick up on it?" You chewed the inside of your cheek before shaking your head. "I'm sure it's fine. We're both Special Grade. They only sent a Grade Three and a Grade Two before."

He didn't look convinced, but he nodded. "Right. Let's go then."

Ijichi cleared his throat. "I'll place the barrier after you enter. Good luck."
