A COUPLE DAYS LATER, AMELIA WAS SPENDING HER MORNING lying down on the couch in her home. she tried her best to enjoy her break from filming, but her thoughts kept wandering back to jude. being here was supposed to help her clear her mind, but instead, it only made her realize how much she had left unresolved. she felt as though her and jude deserved a longer conversation after what happened, but she didn't give that to him or herself.

she picked up her phone to scroll through social media, hoping to distract herself. but the random posts about jude and tyla, along with the gossip about her being at the barca game, only made her feel worse. she sighed, tossing her phone aside and sinking further into the couch, wondering if there would soon be a day where her life wasn't a topic of public discussion.

just as she was about to give in to her thoughts again, her phone buzzed. she reached over and saw gavi's name flash across the screen. a small smile tugged at the corner of her lips. gavi had always been good at making her day better, whether it was a quick chat or a funny text.

she answered, "hey, gavi."

"hey lia," gavi's voice came through. "um i was just thinking...I don't have training today, and i'm not really doing anything. i was wondering if you were up for some company maybe?"

amelia felt a bit of relief wash over her, "yeah, i'm not doing anything today either. you can come over if you want."

"great," he replied. "I'll be there soon then."

"see you soon," she kindly told him.

as she hung up, she immediately felt better. it made her feel at ease that she wasn't going to spend the day alone. now, she didn't need to be full of thoughts about jude, or tyla.

GAVI ARRIVED AT AMELIA'S HOUSE AT AROUND 1PM, THE GIRL welcomed him in, and they made their way to the couch. as they got comfortable enough, gavi began to speak. "so, how's your show going? i've been waiting for the new season to come out, already watched the first two and they were so good."

amelia's eyes lit up, "really? thanks pablo! we're already at the end of filming. i think we only have about two weeks left, and after that it's just the editing that everyone has to wait for. but i think this season is going to be better than the last one."

gavi leaned in, "mm better how? can you please tell me."

"i can't spoil anything," amelia laughed. "but it's been somewhat intense to film, and i'm proud of how everything looks so far."

"sounds cool," gavi said as he grinned. "it's got to be fun to play your character though. do you ever feel like you and her have anything in common?"

amelia thought for a moment. "i mean there's definitely some similarities. we're both really loyal to our friends, but she's for sure more fearless than i am. there's no way i'd survive half the things that she's been through."

gavi chuckled, "maybe, but you seem pretty fearless to me. i mean, you've handled everything in your life recently with lots of strength."

amelia smiled softly, "thanks gavi, that means a lot."

as they continued to talk, whether it was about gavi's football team or amelia's job, gavi could sense that there was some kind of sadness in amelia's words.
