Song: Happy-NF
[/]*[/]*[/]*[/]*[/]*[/]*[/]*[/]*[/]*[/]*[/]*[/]*Sori stared at Jake in shock. Sure, she had heard wrong. Jungwon? Her ex? Soris ex? He didn't really act like it. It explained what Sunoo said to him, though...
"What? Why did we break up?" Sori once more felt stupid for asking questions about things she felt she should know.
Jake turned red. "How am I supposed to know? Ask Eunchae. She's your best friend. I'm only your third best friend." He sounded slightly bitter, saying that.
"Jake." Sori lowered her voice and pushed all of her anger through her words. "You're going to tell me everything you know right this instant. Eunchae, you too."
Eunchae stared at her feet before speaking. "No one actually knows. One day, you just told him you didn't want to do it anymore."
"You broke his heart." It was Jake's turn to sound angry. "But we all forgave you because your Sunoos sister and Jungwon forgave you. Saying her 'understood' your decision. I know he still hurts. Yet he's forced to be around you all the time. Im going to go find Sunghoon." He stood up and left the room without a backward glance.
"Well... That's Jake for you. All of the boys are kind of protective of each other. Seeing you and Jungwon on more friendly terms made them relax a bit. But now... You can't remember. Bringing it back up probably doesn't help matters." Eunchae gave the girl a sympathetic look. "Listen. I'll bring you down to the training grounds since Jake left."
"Wait, Euncae! What am I supposed to do now? Act like I don't know?"
Eunchae paused at the door. "That's up to you. Now come on."
Sori sighed and followed the girl. She wasn't going to be able to look at Jungwon the same, knowing she had broken his heart without actually knowing.
Eunchae led her down into a courtyard in the middle of the castle. Where she spotted Jay holding a sword. He was pointing it at Yeonjun and Soobin, who were also holding swords, though wooden, and making gestures. She saw the boys not and then go do some stuff to some wooden mannequin style things. Eunchae waved at her and walked back in to the castle. Sori walked over to the boys.
"Hi Jay." She walked up beside the boy and watched Yeonjun and Soobin.
"Oh hi, Sori. Was that Eunchae I saw leaving? I thought Jake was going to bring you." Jay looked down at the shorter girl, waiting for her to answer him.
She stayed silent for a few seconds. "How did you know Jake was going to?"
"What do you mean?"
"Jake showed up after you left." Sori stared back at him with a straight face.
"That's not relevant."
She rolled her eyes at him and looked away. He did the same.
"Jake told me about Jungwon." Sori stared at her feet in embarrassment. She didn't know what the deal was with Jay, but she was sure it couldn't be as bad as this. Right?
"He did what?" Jay sounded a little angry. She hoped it wasn't at her.
"I really think you guys should have told me instead of hiding it."
"Did he tell you what you said? You told us you want to forget about it and move on. You only emphasized that to me 150 times." Jay watched Yeonjun and Soobin practice for a bit before walking over to them to explain something.
Sori was shocked. This person that she was was a seriously strange person. Why would you want to forget you dated someone? Especially someone as sweet as Jungwon seemed. Speaking of which... Wasn't she a princess? How did she end up dating Jungwon. He didn't seem like royalty.
