"You don't like them." It wasn't a question.

Niki shook his head. "We have to go." He grabbed her hand and dragged her off the rooftop and down two sets of stairs.

"Niki, where are we going?" She didn't recognize this new hallway.

"A shortcut to your room. You need to change. Eunchae should be in your room right now." He pulled her down a hallway on her left and down on set of stairs. He opened a door and there was her room.

"Wow. How did you know that was there?"

"I live here, genius. Me, you, and Sunoo used to explore this castle all the time." He pushed her into her room and entered behind her.

Eunchae rushed in behind them. She ran over to the disappearing closet and yanked out a blue gown. Shoving the dress and Sori into the closet she slid the door shut almost completely and told Niki to go on the other side of the room.

Sori put on the dress the best she could and went back into her bedroom. Eunchae pulled her to the bathroom and curled her hair slightly, pulling some of it back. She then handed a pair of heels to Sori, at which she complained, a lot.

After finally standing up and preparing to leave, Eunchae rushed over once more. She rubbed scented lotion on Soris' hands, sprayed some perfume, and put some lip gloss on her. Then, she sighed in relief and motioned for her to leave.

Niki grabbed her hand and dragged her out of her room and down the grand staircase. He pulled her into the entrance hall, where Sunoo was waiting for her. He looked scared.

He reached for her hand. "Well... This is it. Within the next week, I'll be a king... And probably in an arranged marriage."

"WHAT?!"

"I told you. To be king, I have to have a woman by my side. And the Chois have a daughter they've always wanted me to marry." Sunoo avoided his sisters shocked stare.

"Sunoo! What about me?" She couldn't believe her ears. She already felt close to Sunoo. She could tell he didn't want this either.

"Meet me in my office later. We'll talk then." He held out his arm for her as the servants pulled the doors open.

She complied and walked with him out the doors. They were met with dozens of carriages parking in front of the castle.

The main carriage opened, and a tall silver haired man stepped out. He appeared to be about 60 years of age.

"Prince Sunoo! How have you been?" He sounded polite and dignified.

Beside her, Sunoo stiffened. "I am doing well, Albert."

The man seemed to notice Sori for the first time. "Sori! My favorite granddaughter! How are you?"

For the first time, the man showed emotion. Joy. He rushed over to Sori and embraced her. Tears ran his his face. She flinched slightly but didn't move.

Sunoo grabbed his arm. "Albert. We have to talk. Would you like to come to my office with me?"

The king let go of Sori. "Can she come?"
