Yall, I just finished reading the Nishimura Riki fanfiction Starboy... Way to make me emotional the the worst time imaginable. Then I posted it on JVKEs Weverse, and the first person to like it was someone named NI-KI. That just made me sad. I've read The Outsiders, so I knew the story was gonna have a sad ending, but I wasn't expecting the legit ending. Shoutout to NI-KI🌟 on JVKEs Weverse! 😄😄Enjoy reading my second ff even tho I didn't finish my first....😅😅😅
I KEEP WRITING THIS IN FIRST PERSON POV. UGGGHHHH, PLEASE POINT OUT WHERE I FORGET THAT THIS IS A THIRD PERSON POV....
_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_Jimin looked to her left, then her right, then her left again. Quickly, she stepped onto the crosswalk and crossed the street. She was on her way to her job at a small cafe, which was about 20 minutes away from her home. Once she reached the other side of the street, she turned left and began the rest of her walk to the cafe. She reached the cafe and pulled open the door. Immediately, she was hit with the smell of coffee, which seemed to rejuvenate her.
*TMI of the day: It is a proven fact that just smelling coffee can improve someone's train of thought and such. It can make them more productive, I should say*
She waved to the manager, Jaehyun, who was behind the counter, and continued on her way out back. She pushed open the 'employee only' door and put her purse and phone down on a shelf. She grabbed an apron and tied it on. Sliding her phone in the front pocket, she returned to the main room of the cafe and went behind the camera.
"Hey Jaehyun!" She smiled at her friend.
"Oh hi." He simply said. Jaehyun wasn't a big talker and didn't like to waste his breath on meaningless conversations.
"I have classes tomorrow, so I can't work. I asked Suho, and he said he'll fill in for me. Ok?"
He nodded and took off his apron. His shift was over, and it would be up to her to finish and close for the day.
She sighed and prepared herself for the next few hours of waiting on customers. It was a popular cafe and was nicely decorated. With short black tables and white cushions in the corners, and tall white tables with white stools in the middle of the floor. There were more stools along the counter, but these ones were white. About half of the seats in the cafe were already filled. It was only 2 o'clock, which wasn't their busiest hour.
The door dinged, signaling a new customer. Jimin sat up straight, ready to take a new order. She glanced over to the entrance to see 5 men walking in. Each one was wearing a face mask and a hat pulled low. Uncertain, Jimin put her hand close to the emergency switch under the counter. It would call 911 if needed.
The men reached the counter and seemed to study the menu. Then, the first one leaned over.
"Excuse me. Can I get a caramel roll and an Americano?" He pulled down his mask as he ordered. From what she could see, he was very good looking, and tall.
"Of course! Will this be all together?" She asked, motioning to the other men.
"Oh, umm... yes, I suppose." He sighed a little impatiently, then turned to the other men. Who had stopped paying attention. "Beomgyu quit pestering Yeonjun and order! Kai! Quit comparing your height to Soobins. We all know who's taller."
Jimin hid her smile and let down her guard a little. They seemed like normal people so far.
The man sighed again, taking off his hat and running his hand through his hair. "We'll take the same for each of us."
"Taehyuuuuunnnnnnnnnn?!" One of the men complained, who I assumed was Kai. "But I want a cinnamon roll and a fruit smoothie instead!"
