Our Eternity: Sequel to Our Forever twilight fanfiction

Chapter 3

Today was the day of Renesmee's wedding. I was helping Renesmee get ready. I was running a brush through Renesmee's bronze ringlets when Alice came in.

"Okay Time to do your makeup." She squeals. She pulls out one of the many makeup pallets as I begin to intricately braid certain parts of Renesmee's hair.

In a few hours, Renesmee is finally ready. I quickly pull the deep blue dress on and pull a small box out from my closet. I run and grab Edward from outside. He follows me into Alice's bathroom, where Renesmee was waiting.

I handed her the box and she looked at it puzzled.

"Open it." I say to her excitedly.

She opens the box and gasps. "They're beautiful!" She says as she hands Alice the hair pins.

"My parents gave me these when I got married. I thought you should have them too." I say smiling at my beautiful little girl. Edward wrapped his hands around my waist and pulled me close to him.

"I love them mom! When you said I've seen it before I was completely confused as to what you were going to give me, but I could recognize these anywhere. I've seen them in your wedding photos." She says as Alice slides the sapphire pins into her bronze hair.

"They're yours now." I tell her as I turn around and reach up to kiss Edward. He kisses me back as I lift my shield and replay him our wedding and when Renesmee was born.

"We've come such a long way from then. Just look at Ness now. She's not that little baby you had more than a hundred years ago." He says holding me close to his cool body.

Alice then suddenly squeals, "Time for the dress! Are you ready, Renesmee?!"

Renesmee nods her head and stands as Alice pulls the large garment bag from the closet. I unravel myself from Edward and gesture for him to leave. He kisses my forehead before he leaves the room.

Alice and I help Renesmee into the white silk gown and into the tall heels. As I look at my little Renesmee, I think of all the beautiful memories we've had together. It was all coming to an end. She was all grown up and didn't need me anymore.

I smile as she spins around and smiles at me. "I love you mom. Thank you." she says carefully hugging me. 

"I love you too, Renesmee. And, Happy Birthday." I say smiling. 

"Thanks mom." She says bringing her hand up to my cheek and showing me her first few memories. 

With that, I went downstairs to Edward and placed a kiss on his cheek. "She's ready for you." He smiles and then walks up the stairs to give her a few words of encouragement. When time draws closer to the start of the ceremony, he walks back down to wait by the stairs for her. 

I then find a seat near the rest of my family. I scan through the crowd to see who Alice invited. Of course the Denali Coven were here, and many of our friends who helped us face the Volturi. There were even a few vampires that I have never met. 

That's when I saw Renesmee begin the descent down the spiral stairs. I smiled when I saw her. She looked incredible. When she reached the bottom of the stairs, she wrapped her arm around Edward's and walked the short distance to Jacob. Jacob was beaming with pride. He smiled as Edward placed her hand in his and gave him a look that meant, "If you hurt her, you will die."

Edward joined me and folded my body into his. I smiled as Jacob and Renesmee said their vows. Their forever was finally going to begin. They kissed and that's when I realized that my little girl belonged to Jacob, now. I smiled and kept a brave face, I had to. I was happy.

Alice had a huge party planned for after the ceremony. We all went outside to the breathtaking backyard. Alice had about every flower in existence outside. Music was already playing. Edward lead me to the dance floor that had been set up early today. "You know I can't dance." I said smirking.

"You couldn't when you were human. We don't know as a vampire, now do we?" He said with an adorable crooked smile. 

"Fine. I'll dance." I say as he pulls me close to his muscular body and begins slow movements. He then begins to speed up with the music. We went from swaying to swirling. I wasn't clumsy human Bella anymore. I was agile vampire Bella, and this Bella could dance, better than any human ever could.

We swirl and move throughout the dance floor. Everyone stares as we dance but I don't care. Edward and I were used to stares and always would be. And no one had seen me dance because I never have. 

After a while we head to a table and talk, kiss, and be romantic. Alice then calls Edward and Renesmee to dance. I smile as I watch the two people I love most in this world dance. When Edward returns to my side, Alice calls Jacob and I to dance. Edward kisses my forehead encouragingly and I take Jacob's hand. 

He brings me to the floor and begins slow. "I didn't know becoming a vampire gave you impeccable dancing skills." He says smirking. 

"Yeah, I guess it does. I've never tried them out until now." I say smiling. 

"Thank you Bella." He says as he spins me.

"For what?" I ask obviously confused.

"For letting me marry Ness. I know you've never liked the idea." He says smiling at me.

"You're welcome. She's lucky to have you." 

And with that, we exit the dance floor. The party goes on until around midnight, when Renesmee is tired of doing everything. They were set to leave in the morning so Edward and I had a little more time with her.She slept soundly until Edward and I heard her bloodcurdling scream.
