Fear x Lance *Request*

Fear was still recovering from getting injured from being in the forbidden zone after he decided to take a break from all the chaos in Headquarters. Riley's secrets, the new friends that the old emotions made along the way would come visit Headquarters from time to time. Sure Headquarters was crowded but it was only temporary. Lance would be concerned about Fears condition. Though Joy and the other emotions told him that he was fine and was just recovering, Lance would forget. But he only wasn't just concerned for Fears condition, he also was interested in the purple emotion. He found Fear very cute and innocent. Of course Lance would never tell Fear because an emotion dating a video game character would be weird. But was it?

One day Lance and Bloofy visited Headquarters. Of course Lance asked where Fear was. "He's in his room like always" Joy replied. Lance made his way to Fears bedroom. Fear was in his bed still looking a bit miserable. He had bandages all over his body and a few scars on his face. "Ugh why did I leave Headquarters? I should've just stayed in my room..." He said to himself. He then heard a knock on the door. He responded for the person to come in. The door opened and Lance dramatically made an entrance. He actually had to lower himself to get in because he was taller than the emotions. "Fear not my purple emotion, your miserable days in this prison are over" He drew out his giant sword. Unfortunately his giant sword knocked into some room decorations. Fear looked at the video game character in confusion. "Umm Lance, this is my bedroom?..." He said.

Lance looked around. "Oh. Perhaps this is just a normal room but I'm still here to rescue you from your misery"

"But I'm still recovering. Where would you take me anyway?"

"I don't know actually...but you have to get some fresh air. You've been cooped up in this bedroom for quite some time. Can you get up?"

"Yeah a little...it just hurts when I move lower body though"

Lance started to think for a few moments. "If you're okay with this, would you like me to carry you?" He blushed a bit. Fear thought for a minute. "Sure I guess" Lance gets closer to Fears bed and gently picks him carefully not trying to hurt him. Fear winced a little but he could cope. Lance ended up holding Fear in a bridal style. Fear noticed this and he blushed. "heh yeah..."

Lance made his way out of Fears bedroom while carrying him and making his way to the couch in Headquarters. He sat down on the couch with Fear still in his arms. They both sat there quietly for a few minutes. "Soo, are you going to put me down or are you going to just hold me like this"

"Sorry do you not like this?" Lance asked.

"I...I actually don't mind really..."

"Oh okay" Lance held Fear up close to him. Fear continued blushing. Did Lance have feelings for him? After a little while Fear ended up falling asleep. Lance noticed but he admired how adorable Fear looked sleeping. Without hesitation he fidgets Fears strand of hair with his finger. Then he made his finger down to Fears cheek. He rubbed his finger up against it gently. It startled Fear though as he woke up. "Oh Sorry..." Lance said blushing.

"It's fine, what were you doing though?" Fear asked.

"Just checking on you..."

Fear didn't believe Lance though. It was obvious that Lance was hitting on him. First Lance went into his all chivalry and all and then he held him bridal style. But what concerned Fear more was can a video game character date an emotion in general? Fear didn't want to hurt Lances feelings though so he shrugged it off for now. "Well, I'm going to go out on the balcony if you don't mind" Fear said.

"Sure" Lance gently set Fear down on the ground. Fear slowly limped his way to the exit to get on the balcony. Lance watched his crush struggle. But he couldn't just let Fear walk by himself like that. It was too painful to watch. Lance got up from the couch and caught up to Fear. "Here Fear, please just let me guide you at least" He offered his hand. Fear decided to take as his limping would make it only difficult to get to the balcony. Joy happened to notice the two. She was a bit curious on the two. Did they have something going on? Once they get outside Fear sat down on the bench sighing in relief a bit. Lance didn't sit next to Fear but he did stand behind him. Fear started to think about earlier again and decided to ask Lance for his honesty about having feelings for him. "Hey Lance, I'm not trying to hurt your feelings but do you by chance have feelings for me?" He asked.

"Umm, maybe a little. But I can't help it. I think it's wrong for a video game character like me to have feelings for an emotion...." Lance replied sadly. "But here I am hitting on you..." Lance sat next to Fear again.

Fear was surprised that Lance was honest with him. "Oh I see..." Fear did have to admit that Lance was pretty attractive. Those green eyes... and that perfect body...but why would Lance choose Fear? A cowardly scrawny little emotion. I guess looks don't matter to some..."y'know Lance...I do find you really attractive..." Fear blushed a bit.

"You do? Oh Fear I... I'm glad you like me back then... besides who said a video game character and an emotion can't date?"

"No one I guess."

"Well, don't worry Fear I'll make sure no one hurts you...ever..."

Fear blushed but he leaned against Lance without hesitation. Lance blushed but he snuggled Fear back. After a few minutes of snuggles Lance and Fear looked at each other. Lance gently sets Fear on his lap. Then they both slowly lean in for a kiss. Lance had his thumb under Fears chin guiding him. The two knew that they would have an interesting relationship.
