Ami has a legitimate date. The girls are a bit jealous, but for the most part think that this is her moment. A little time to kick back and let things shine a little.

Enjoy.

As the girls got home and were turning in as Artimus got comfortable in Mako's bed. He watched her turn over under the covers in a bittersweet mood. "All the work and Ami has a date before I do." Minako yawned after complaining.

"Don't worry Minako. He will come. Don't you worry. The worst thing to do is be hard on yourself. These things aren't easy." Calmed Artimus.

"How would you know? You have Luna." Huffed Minako.

"Mako even at the time that was difficult. It's still complicated. To Luna, there is no off duty. There is always work. For me and you, we know when there is time to be off work and when to get serious."

"I guess." Minako yawned again and closed her eyes.

Ami was a little nervous. Technically is was a study group but also a date. Although, being true to herself she put on a nice blouse, a dark skirt that was appropriate for any occasion, a squirt of perfume, and went to meet (First) in the media room. To her surprise, he was already there when she walked in. Little people there as he was in the same corner he was working in the night prior. The difference in his appearance was night and day. He looked well rested and dressed to please without going overboard.

The girls and cats from the empty room across the hallway watched Ami walk inside. Supervising and admiring how this date was going. At the moment, it seemed a pretty good start.

"Afternoon (First)." She smiled.

"Hey, Ami. How's it going? I just got here a moment ago. Good to see you." He smiled and offered her a chair.

"So I guess we get some assignments done and do you have class after?" She asked.

"Actually, after our hard work for yesterday and today how about sushi? My treat."

Ami was astonished. "Are you sure?"

"We both earned it. Why not?" He winked at her.

"Well, if you insist." Ami tried not to blush. But getting compliments and a spoiled treat wasn't something she was used to. A trip on a ferris wheel and a dumpling maybe, but this was a real nice sit-down date that all girls dream about. "I'd love that."

"Sweet. We got a couple hours to go and maybe before 4 o'clock we head out and beat the rush? My friend Kuro is there and he can snatch us a table."

"After these assignments we can have it be about us. Brilliant. Hope you learn to treat yourself outside of a date though." Ami pointed out.

"Well, I will try and work on it. Sometimes I can't figure out when enough is enough with work. But a little more confidence maybe will help." A topic that a man should not bring up on a first date. Confidence. Too much or too little being a turn off is a turn-off for a woman. Although Ami thought he was cute. (First) was being genuine and she knew he worked hard. A compliment here and there can't hurt.

Back across the hall as everyone was peeping in they kind of realized something. The room was vacant. They could use the lights and turn it on. Maybe not a school policy correct thing to do, but it was a room that was empty, unlocked, and had desks inside. If the classroom was empty and not used it seems fair game. That said Usagi hit the lights and everyone got to it. There was a least two hours or maybe even three to get the proper work done before the date couple were to skip the media room and onto a meal.
