Aj practically burst into the kitchen where Sharky was casually eating a sandwich, scrolling through his phone.

His sudden entrance had startled Sharky, who looked up with a confused expression on his face.

"Aj? What's going on?" Sharky asked, clearly puzzled by Aj's frantic demeanour.

Aj's breathing was heavy, and his heart was still pounding from the chaos in the living room.

"Sharky, listen," he started, his voice shaking as he tried to catch his breath.

"It's not what it looked like back there!"

Sharky set his phone down, his confusion deepening. "Wait, what? Weren't you two just... I don't even know, wrestling on the couch? I just, I mean I thought you guys hated each other, no?"

Aj's face flushed in anger, the thought of Niko had somehow made him feel even more angry. "Yes I fucking hate that prick so much! I hate Niko's stupid guts. He's being more of an annoying fuck lately and I don't know what to do. I'm not sure what it looked like, but I was trying to get him off me, as if that wasn't obvious enough."

Sharky raised an eyebrow, still not entirely convinced. "Well.. why did it look like you were so... sort of flustered? You kept looking at me as though I just caught you guys mid make-out session or something... like you were afraid that I'd think something was going on?"

Aj groaned, running a hand through his hair in frustration. "That's the thing, Sharky. I didn't want you to get the wrong idea because there's nothing going on. Niko's just too stupid to grasp what's 'too far', and I didn't want you to think I was... you know... into him or anything. I respect you too much to let Niko change your opinion on me."

Aj was being completely honest. He treasured Sharky as a great friend and didn't want Sharky to think he was doing weird things with Niko when no one else was around. Because that's far from correct.

Niko's POV

Niko remained seated on the couch, as he replayed the scene in his mind. A smirk slowly crept onto his face as a wild thought took over.

Why was Aj so desperate to clear things up with Sharky? And why did he keep glancing over at Sharky every time he got flustered? He thought.

Niko leaned back, staring up at the ceiling, as his imagination started to run wild.

Huh... maybe... Aj's all worked up because he's got a thing for Sharky...

He mumbled to himself, his grin widening. The more he thought about it, the more it made sense to him - at least in his own twisted logic. Aj's panic, the nervous stuttering, the way he looked at Sharky as if he was desperate for his approval...

"Yeah, that's gotta be it," Niko muttered, his eyes glittering with mischievous intent.

Aj's totally got a crush on Sharky. This is gonna be too easy. I'll fuck up Sharky's image of Aj to destroy him! That small prick will never see this coming. He laughed as he concluded this.

As Niko pieced together this completely incorrect theory, he couldn't help but laugh to himself. If Aj was really that in love with Sharky, then pretending to be lovey-dovey with him in front of Sharky would drive him crazy.

Back to Aj and Sharky

"You did seem pretty pre-occupied with Niko though." Sharky confessed. "Maybe you guys could be good friends if you really tried."

"Ugh I'd never be friends with him! He's a lanky giraf-"

Before Aj could finish, Niko walks into the kitchen, standing right next to him with his arms crossed. He observed Aj's facial expression for a brief moment, he was just so desperate to clear things up with Sharky.
