Lisa woke up with a dry throat and a pounding headache, her eyes barely open as she tried to steady herself with a hand against her forehead. The nausea churned in her stomach, threatening to rise but never quite reaching the surface—a miserable limbo that only added to her discomfort. She cursed inwardly, knowing she was dealing with a hangover, something she loathed enough to rarely drink. The aftermath was always the worst part.

After what felt like an eternity of sitting still, hoping the nausea would pass, she finally became aware of her surroundings—and they were completely unfamiliar.

What the hell? Where am I?

Panic gripped her as she glanced down at her clothes. Men's clothes. Her heart raced faster as she frantically tried to recall if she'd done something she'd regret—something irreversible and so stupid, like losing her virginity, perhaps?

But as her mind raced, she didn't feel anything particularly out of place. Maybe she hadn't done anything stupid after all. She stood up, nearly losing her balance as the remnants of last night's alcohol still clouded her senses. "I am never drinking again," she muttered, clutching her head as if that could stop the room from spinning. She needed to find a way out of here.
