Part 36- Veer's decision

After sometime,

Pratha: mujhe Saab samajh Aya but Tum achanak mujhe ignore Kyu Karrahe the? Prarthna toh 5 Saal pehle Chali gayi thi na?

Veer: mai ussdin Prarthna ki mom se Mila tha. Then unse mujhe pata Chala ki Prarthna...... (His voice chocked) Prarthna died in an accident.

Pratha: yeh kab hua?

Veer: jab Mai USA mei tha. She told me that Meri family nehi chahti thi ki mujhe Kuch bhi pata chale because nehi toh nai kabhi move on nehi kar pata.

Pratha: it's really sad. But why did you ignore me?

Veer sighs.

Veer: Pratha, ek bohot Badi Baat hai Jo Maine tumse chupaya hai.

Pratha: what? (She asks with confusion)

Veer: Pratha........ (He holds her both hands) Prarthna and Tumhari face belkul same hai.

Pratha feels like a big storm passes by her. She gets a shock.

Pratha: Ve..... Veer yeh...... Tum Kya bol rahe ho?

She asks him with stammering

He takes out his phone and shows her Prarthna's photo.

Pratha becomes shocked. She takes the phone from his hand.

Pratha: yeh...... Yeh toh belkul same..... Uski face belkul Meri tarha......but how?

Pratha is sweating. She gets those flashes again. Her head is spinning. Veer gets up and continues

Veer: that's why I was shocked when first day I saw you. Because first I thought you're Prarthna. But when I saw yours eyes then I realized you're not. Because her eyes were Hazel brown and yours are black. Pratha, I loved her truly. I am confused. Because I'm thinking that do I really love you or your face is similar to Prarthna that's why I have fallen for you. Ussdin Prarthna ki death ke baremei Janne ke Baad Mai firse confused hogaya. That's why I was ignoring you. But now I realized I really love you.

Veer turns and saw Pratha. He realizes something is happening to her. He immediately goes near her.

Veer: Pratha..... Are you ok? Pra.....

Before he could call her, she fainted on his shoulder. He patted her cheeks.

Veer: Pratha......... What happened?

He immediately lifts her and makes her lay down on the sofa. He sprinkles water on her face. She opens her eyes.

Veer: Pratha, are you ok?

Pratha nods. Veer helps her to get up. She sits properly. Veer makes her drink water.

Veer: are you feeling ok?

Pratha: yeah......

Veer: what happened suddenly?

Pratha: don't know. Suddenly I felt my head is spinning. Then.......

Veer: ok, calm down. I think you need rest. Let's go.

Pratha: where?

Veer: home. You should take rest. Chalo, I will drop you

Pratha: hmm

They both leave from office. Veer is driving car and Pratha is sitting on passenger seat.

Veer's Pov- I think stress ke wajese Pratha tab senseless hogayi thi. I think I shouldn't give her more stress. Mujhe usse Prarthna ke baremei nehi Bolna chahiye tha. I think I should move on now. It's been 5 years. Jo past hai usse bhula Dena chahiye and apni present and future ke baremei sochna chahiye. Yes, I need to be serious about Pratha. I will propose her for marriage. Yes...... This time I won't lose my love.

Their car reaches in front of building. Veer looks at Pratha and saw she has fallen asleep. She's looking very cute. A genuine smile forms on his face looking at her. He gets down and then comes to her side. He lifts her in bridal style and goes to their apartment. He press the doorbell. Kavya opens the door.

Kavya: Veer...... Pratha ....... What happened to her?

Veer: nothing just she falls asleep. So I didn't have heart to wake her up. So....

Kavya nods

Kavya: I got scared.

They go inside and veer makes her lay down on bed properly. She is in deep sleep. He covers her with blanket. Then he comes out of her room and sits on sofa in living room. Kavya comes there with two cups of coffee.

Veer: thanks

Kavya: what happened?

Veer: what?

Kavya: Kuch hua hai Kya Tre aur Pratha ke bich? Mai Kuch dino se notice karrahi hu, Tu usse ignore karraha hai. Kya hua hai?

Veer sighs.

Veer: Tu toh Meri past ke baremei janti hai. Kuch din pehle,  I met Prarthna's mom

Kavya: really!!! Then.... What happened? Where's Prarthna?

Then Veer tells her everything. Even he shares the conversation that he had with Pratha today.

Kavya: hmm..... Samjhi. Veer tujhe yeh Saab ajeeb nehi lagta?

Veer: what?

Kavya: yehi ki Pratha and Prarthna ki face same kaise hosakti hai. Then Prarthna ki baat sunke Pratha ka behosh hona. Kya yeh Saab co incidence hai Yaa phir Kuch aur hi baat hai.

Veer: Matlab?

Kavya: kahi Pratha and Prarthna same ho toh nehi?

Veer: are you mad? I told you before that she's not Prarthna. Her eyes color.....

Kavya: I know but mujhe Kuch galat lagraha hai Yaha. Yeh bhi toh hosakta hai ki yeh dono sisters ho

Veer: I asked Pratha, she told me that she has one younger sister but no twin sister.

Kavya: pata nehi mujhe Kyu Pratha aur Prarthna.... In dono mei koi connection feel horaha hai.

Veer: mujhe aur Kuch nehi sochna aur nahi samajhna hai. I have made up my mind. Mai Pratha ko shadi ke Liye propose karunga.

Kavya: are you sure?

Veer: I'm 200% sure. Mai Kal hi usse propose karunga.

Kavya: uncle manenge?

Veer: it's my life my choice. I don't need anyone's interference. Aur Mai Pratha ko uss Ghar mei kabhi Leke nehi jaunga. We will live here. Mai uski baby ki jimedari bhi lunga. Woh baby hum dono ka Hoga.

Kavya pats on his shoulder.
