In the middle of nowhere, there stood a candy-made house—it was like a fairy tale—a dream of sweetness—caramel-coated walls, sugar-glass windows, chocolate bar roof , and lavender-colored sweet decorations. It was a fairy-tale facade, enchanting yet deceptive.

But there was Hansel, sitting in a chair made of chocolate, restlessness and agony smeared all over his face. The shelter has a luscious, enchanting exterior; yet it was only a facade to the rotting torment of the little boy.

He was chained in rusted iron wires—an acrid contrast to the house sugary vibrancy—he silently watched the rotting interior walls while the benevolent witch fed him sugar-coated glass shards. She smiled and gently brushed Hansel's face with her sharp nails. Her eyes were gleaming with devotion and guile.
