"AURIELA." The familiar blonde girl spoke, not paying attention to her phone anymore. I stared back at her for a moment, every word of English I ever knew dripped away from my knowledge, I stared at her, the only movement from me was my chest. I couldn't tell what I was feeling, but it seemed like she did.

"Order for Auriela!" The Starbucks worker spoke again, dragging me back down to Earth. I gulped at the sight of her before slowly looking away from her, moving my head with my eyes before getting up from my chair and going up to the Starbucks counter, trying to offer the worker a smile before I felt the cold sensation from my drink on my hand.

I didn't know what to say to her. I needed to gather myself in about 10 seconds.

I turned around quickly before looking back at her, she had her eyebrows furrowed. I let out a heavy breath before putting a smile on my face. "Freya! It's so good to see you." I said in a high-pitched tone before walking towards my table and putting my drink down, keeping myself standing, and the distance between us. She tilted her head softly, giving me a look of slight suspicion with a smile.

Unfortunately, my face said it all. I was not excited to see her.

"You sure?" She said with a laugh. I let out an exaggerated laugh before it faded out, the smile that was on my face faded quickly. I looked away from her a second before looking back up at her.

"What brings you here?" I said, changing the topic. She licked her lips before putting her phone in her pocket.
"Oh, I'm meeting my boyfrien--someone." She said with a awkward laugh. I gave a clear fake laugh, full of pettiness. Fortunately, this didn't pass her. She broke eye contact with me for a moment before I spoke.

"Malachi?" I asked, her smile slightly fading. She took a moment before answering.

"What? No, I--No. Me and Malachi are just---just friends!" She stuttered over her words as if she was presenting a presentation as a new kid. She moved her hands nervously, making me raise my eyebrows. She glanced down at her drink an the empty seat.

"Are you going to stay here long?" She asked me. I grabbed my drink before taking a sip, keeping my eyes locked in her with her blue ones.

"Planning on it. You know, need to get out of the house after seeing Mala--someone." I said, sitting down. She looked at me up and down before she gave me an annoyed smile, her eyebrows furrowed smile. She gulped slightly before making her way to the table in front of mine, her back facing mine.

There was a silence between us, I clicked my tounge, keeping my eyes sending daggers to the back of her head. I cleared my throat softly before grabbing my drink and grabbing out my phone, swiping through my phone as if I was doing something. I needed to seem busy.
