Reala Get's Sick

As NiGHTS was able to make a full recovery thanks to the cure that Ashley and Owl had gotten. Reala and Jackle had managed to make some homemade soup, with some shinadigains that came with, nothing happened until the duo returned and thus made a tea to help cure the purple jester. However the illness had made them into a monster that tried attacking them, thankfully Reala was there to help keep NiGHTS in place to take the cure. Which resulted in him getting infected due to forgetting to put up the magic barrier. Jackle had suggested to wait until he started to feel the effects, then they would get the cure to him soon.  

NiGHTS: That's not good, Jackle can't we give Reala the cure so it won't happen?

Jackle: It's not that simple, the only thing you can do is keep an eye out incase it starts. For now it's best to stay in a place where he won't collapse.

Owl: Well I wouldn't wish to be around for when that happens. Besides I need to deliver these to Selph, let me know how things go.

Owl had gotten things set before teleporting away, leaving the four to ponder into what they will do. The red jester groans while having his face in his hands, he really felt foolish for forgetting the simplest spell that would've kept him from getting sick. 

NiGHTS: Reala I am so sorry, I didn't mean to get you infected.

Reala: No I was the one that made this happen, all cause I forgot to recast the barrier. Don't blame yourself too much.

Ashley: Hey Jackle isn't there a better way to help him?

Jackle: Like I said, it's only when he showed signs is when you can give him the cure. 

Ashley: Still I don't want him to feel like he'll be trapped. 

NiGHTS: I can clean my room up so that he'll be less likely to get worst.

Jackle: Yeah that would be the best option. 

NiGHTS went to go do that, Jackle just eats his soup, and Ashley went to comfort the red jester. She takes him outside to get fresh air, and it seemed to help him calm down a bit.

Reala: I can't believe I let this happen. I should've recasted the barrier before coming in.

Ashley: Well it's too late now, all we can do is wait. And besides Jackle said when you start showing signs, we'll get you fixed up.

Reala: I don't know why Jackle wasn't freaking out. It's not even the illness i'm confused about.

Ashley: Maybe it's cause he was familiar with it. Besides you won't be alone.

Reala: And I really appreciate it. If I can ask you something, could you stick by me incase it happens?

She looks at him, and could tell that out of the emotions his eyes could show, it was uneasiness. She brings him into a hug, to which he returns. The emerald dragon wanted him to feel secured and reassured. 

Ashley: It'll be ok. Your going to be ok. We'll make sure you get better.

Reala: Thankyou, that's all I needed to hear.

When things were set, all seemed fine for the time being. They started up the game, and this time NiGHTS wanted to watch. 

NiGHTS: So this game let's you pick and choose your class, but there are secret characters you can get that's just animal versions of said classes?

Ashley: Yup the furry kind, and that's all fine as it means if you want play the same or the new comers.

Jackle: Atleast we got one of them. Seriously why didn't we ask you early, would've saved us lot's of trouble.

Reala: Or maybe upgraded your character's speed, maybe then it could've been more effected.

Jackle: Hey I didn't know that! 

NiGHTS: Heh heh sounds like our oldest sibling's a little lacking in trying that.~

Ashley: Come on guys, not everyone who plays this wouldn't have known that upon first time playing. I didn't even know that.

Reala: Well at least you were able to catch up in levels. Wouldn't want you left behind.

Ashley: Like I said before, the fire realm's the easiest to go through. And besides you both were at level 8 by the time I joined in.

NiGHTS: So what awaits in the next level?

Ashley: The lost cave, yeah it can be a bit confusing but nothing a party of 3 can't handle.
