"Alright you're all done! Come back tomorrow morning so we can start on your core strength." The nurse said giving you a smile before throwing the needle into the hazard bucket.

"Thanks." You replied getting off the cold bed before walking out of the nurse's office. Now heading to your room you stopped from making the turn, hearing someone talking down the hallway

Curious, you peeked behind the corner, finding Price and Alejandro discussing. You couldn't help to eavesdrop. Seemed pretty rude, but there was no way you were heading to your room with people blocking the way.

That's when you heard Alejandro speak, his voice serious as usual, but with a hint of annoyance.

"You want me to agree with you?" He said standing with his arms crossed.

"I don't need you to agree with me." Price spoke looking at Alejandro with a nonchalant expression.

"She's the reason on why we didn't catch him," Alejandro whispered. "Besides, we can't let her join the unit so soon."

"Her?" You wondered feeling confused.

"She will work better if she joined Colonel, trust me." Alejandro shook his head in response.

Your back was now pressed against the wall. "Are they talking, about me...?" A sense of disbelief washed over you before turning around to hear more.

"Alejandro..." Price said catching his attention. "I know I let you take control of this mission, but it seems like anything you do is ineffective towards it."

Alejandro looked the other way, sulking his teeth in irritation. "This discussion was already dealt with, but it seems like you want me to repeat myself." He told.

"Y/n can help us even more if you let her join the unit."

Alejandro scoffs. "And what will everyone else say about it?" He paused while Price stood in silence.

"Sorry Captain, but I don't think it will work."

Price sighed while holding his vest. "Alejandro-"

"She disobeyed the orders that were given to her and ended up in a hospital." Alejandro argued looking at him angrily.

"How about we talk about this with her-"

"No, I don't want to hear another word from you." He said walking to your direction.

But then, Price called out to him.

"Is it because she used to be your comrade?" Those words made Alejandro stop in his tracks.

Your eyebrows furrowed hearing him say something like this. He made it seem as if Alejandro cared more about you than the mission.

"Your old friend," he said tilting his head. "Who disgraced the Mexican army just to join a drug cartel?" Alejandro rolled his tongue inside his cheek before walking back towards Price.

"Are you saying that I'm doing this because we know each other...?" Alejandro raised his eyebrows whilst having an irritated smile on his face.

"What..." You whispered watching the tension grow as he got closer.

"Because I didn't agree in adding her to the team?" Price looked at Alejandro, slightly irritated from his reaction.

"You know that's not what I'm talking about." Price replied. "I'm talking about you locking her up every now and then instead of letting her do what she's supposed to do."
