- Gen -
Ignoring the hut that would be his tonight, Gen slipped against the door, limbs giving way to fatigue and closed his eyes. The day had been an emotional rollercoaster, he was exhausted and already missed Senku, so much he would have liked this moment with him to last forever.
Unfortunately, they'd been forced to separate when Secret came to warn them they were wanted. At that time, Senku had just pushed him against the railing before abruptly breaking their kiss, pulling away from him as if he'd stepped on hot coals. His eyes were shining with an unfamiliar glow and he was red to ears, when the child appeared from behind the curtains, sorry to interrupt but happy to see them so close.
From his sparkling eyes, Gen guessed the pup had instantly understood what had happened between them, but barely had time to hug him before Akumu appeared, face contorted with panic as he searched for them.
Indeed, banquet over, they were asked to join their huts for the night, problem being they couldn't sleep all together. Indeed, having participated in the ritual, Gen had to be alone, which could be seen, either as a privilege, or another test he knew nothing about. Ginro and Soyuz would be with the children, while the 'couple' would share the same hut, and probably the same bed.
At this announcement, the mentalist had felt uneasy. Of course, Senku hadn't seemed enthusiastic, and it wouldn't be his first time sleeping next to her in this stone world. So, it was rather immature to be jealous, especially after what had happened between them. But Gen was more insecure than he let on, and it was precisely because of those precious moments, it was so hard imagine them together, even in all honor.
Because Kohaku was in love with the scientist, not having put their kisses into words didn't help his peace of mind.
He would have liked to thank Secret for offering them this healing, wonderful interlude...
He would have liked to hear from Senku, what it meant to him...
Had their relationship changed?
Had they become 'something more' than a leader and his right-hand man? Without necessarily being a couple already, which might be premature, were they now... connected in a much more intimate way, in the young man's eyes?
Now alone in this dark place - a guard at the door preventing him from leaving, same for each of them - Gen sighed heavily.
What if Senku had simply been curious? Eager to experiment?
Yet, he hadn't imagined those finely shaped arms embracing him possessively, or that mouth constantly claiming his own...
Heart beating fast, he brushed his trembling lips.
The scientist's kisses were still on his mouth, as imprinted on his flesh. Sometimes clumsy, but also adventurous, testing, discovering, so greedy he was already addicted. And when those hands on his hips had pulled up his tunic, this unconscious, hasty gesture - like an impulse even Senku couldn't fight - had taken his breath away.
Knowing their leader could behave like this, the mentalist bit his lips.
He would have loved to feel his slightly dry mouth and curious tongue all over his body tonight, but rolling up one of his sleeves, he grimaced.
Even if it had been possible, between that heat which made him want to tear his hair out, his increasing dizziness and the redness spreading over his skin, he would have ruined everything. Feeling down, he began to scratch his neck again, until the pain forced him to run to the window to breathe some fresh air, trying to keep control of his body, not to do it again.
