Mark had tears in his eyes as he sat down at the table with Namtan and Ray.
"Ray, I have something to show you." Namtan said, pushing a small box towards him.
"It's not my birthday, what is it?" Ray asked in surprise.
"Just open it Ray." Mark smiled at his best friend. Joyfully, Ray started to open the box and found baby shoes inside, two pairs.
"You guys are kidding me, right?"
"We went to the doctor right away and had it checked out." Confirmed Mark.
"No fucking way," Ray exclaimed.
"Yes we are...we're having twins," Namtan said in a teary voice.
"This is just a dream," Ray muttered and stood up to give his friends a hug. "Congratulations to both of you.
None of the ones present could believe that this was reality, that this was really happening. It seemed more dream than reality, a step towards freedom.
