"Our own apartment? You're kidding...right?" Yok looked around, the eyes wide open, still in disbelief that this apartment was theirs. Ohm smiled at them and shook his head.
"We figured, that since you, as of now, don't really have to money to buy an apartment for yourself, we buy it. We put our money together and found this one to be the best fit for you." Ohm lay a hand on View's waist. "And since we will need the house to ourselves soon, we thought that we want to give you the opportunity to have something for your own. A fresh new start." All of the friends looked at View and Ohm in confusion. Mark was the first to react.
"Are you pregnant?" He asked in a high-pitched voice, and tears immediately gathered in View's eyes as she nodded, with a bright smile on her face.
"Yes, we're becoming parents." All of the ones present, congratulated and hugged their friends. It was a wonderful evening, everyone was there to celebrate. Yok looked around, knowing this was his family, the family he had chosen and he wouldn't trade for anything.
