"What's the matter Ray? You look so thoughtful?" Yok asked, snuggling up to his boyfriend.
"Mark...he offered to get Namtan pregnant...waiving paternity rights just so there wouldn't have to be a weird situation between Namtan and me." Ray said, still shocked that Mark had even made that suggestion. "That...that's too much to ask...I would never forgive myself if it made him unhappy....he would never be able to become the father he always wanted to be."
"Oh baby...that's so selfless of him...he's a really good friend...a friend who really wants to help you...maybe you should listen to him. Maybe this isn't your decision right now, but his." Yok gave Ray a little peck on the lips.
"Ton said the same thing...maybe you really are soulmates," Ray smiled through his tears.
"We've been telling you that for almost two years now," Yok chuckled.
"I love you so much baby...I just wish...I just wish we didn't have to hide." Ray sighed and stroked Yok's hair, lost in thought.
"Don't give up my love, one day we will be free and even if that day will only come after 60 years, it will have been worth the wait," Yok smiled at Ray and kissed him on the nose.
"But I don't want to wait until I'm 90 to be able to tell the world what a wonderful person you are. How much I love it when your eyes take the shape of crescents when you laugh and how sweetly you crinkle your nose sometimes. I don't want to wait so long to shout out to the world how much I love you," Ray murmured against Yok's neck.
"Just wait a little longer Sunshine and believe me we will be free and it will be wonderful."
