The following next day was a rude awakening for all of the Hargreeves siblings as well as for Lila. Neither imagined to be awaken with such sickness that their bodies felt like it made a 360 turn that none of them would expected especially when they felt completely fine the previous day.
Early in the morning after everyone met up at Luther's place, sick and frustrated and realizing that there powers were back as well as confused on how since none of them agreed to take the marigold, Ben admitted that he stuck it in there drinks from the previous night.
The only one that wasn't upset was Klaus. Who informed the others that he didn't take his drink last night because he wanted to continue his sober journey.
Though some were upset and others felt like this could be a change after years of going without them, they soon found themselves back at the laundromat together wanting to get more information from the father that claimed his daughter was missing.
When they entered the laundromat/ dry cleaners they noticed it to be empty spuriously and no sight of the man from the night before.
"Looks like Sy flew the coop" Allison voiced as she looked around the place.
"Or somebody got to him" Five said back as he noticed a map folded clipped to a clothes hanger.
"Hey he did say he was in danger" Diego quoted.
"Hey look at this New Grumpson Maine" Five pointed as he unfolded the map looking at a town that was circled in Maine.
"The hell is in New Grumpson Maine , I don't even think I heard of that before " Diego said as he looked confused.
"Maybe Sy's daughter there Allie" Lila answered.
"Or maybe that's where our dry cleaner scampered off too "Allison said from the across the room frustrated at the situation.
Viktor scoffed "or maybe this is all a big set up ."
"Well there's only one way to find out" Five said hinting at his family that they know what they have to do to figure out where the daughter is.
Diego got his keys throwing them up as he caught them "hell yea road trip."
Soon after they left the dry cleaners and some were giving excuses on why they shouldn't go. Kids, personal lives, work.
Diego and Lila discussed there kids and how they were school but Diego also pointed out that the kids also has extracurricular activities after school and that there aunt could pick them up. And after a few moments of convincing Lila that they needed this she agreed.
While the others had their moments of deciding should they go or stay ..they soon followed suit and agreed that they would come too.
"I've been to many places in the world..backpacking , hitchhiking, but I never heard of New Grumpson Maine before " Klaus voiced.
