1: Into the lions den

I'm sitting in my office, working per usual. The phone starts to ring, "Agent Alora speaking." My boss starts to talk at the other end of the phone. I raise my eyebrow in confusion because my boss never calls my office this is the first time he ever called my office. I start to a panic a little, scared as to what he was calling me for. My mind starts racing. Am I fired? Did I do something wrong? I snap out of the zone when my boss sternly calls my name from the phone
"Alora!"
"Yes boss?"
"I need you to come to my office now, I have to discuss something with you."
"Yes boss, I am on my way"
I hang up the phone wondering whats so important that my boss needs me to be in his office. Anxiety takes over as I overthink the situation.

I go into the elevator and go to the 50th floor, when the elevator reaches the 50th floor I take a deep a breath and go into my bosses office. "You wanted to see me?" I said as I walked in. My boss nods his head and motions me to go and sit. I walk over and sit down on the chair, fixing my skirt as I do. I look up at my boss waiting for him to say something
"Alora you must be wondering why I called you up here."
I nod my head
"I called you up here because I have a very important task I need you to do"
"What is it boss?"
"You remember the mafia gang we were trying to hunt down and stop for 3 years?"
I nod my head again
"Well, we finally have a pin point on them and we found out who their leader is"
I look at my boss waiting for him to say who it is
"His name is Alexander Lupé, he is a very skillful man and always works in the shadows"
"Not to be rude boss, but what does this have to do with me?"
My boss looks at me and smiles
"I need you to go and capture Alexander Lupé"
I look at my boss in shock
"It is a very hard task, but you have the skills to do so Alora, your one of our strongest agents and we need you to capture Alexander Lupé so our streets can be mafia free and people dont have to constantly look over there shoulder wondering if they are the next target"
I look at my boss, speechless
"You will get paid more and your income will be doubled. If you successfully complete the mission you will receive a grand total of a million thousand dollars. Fail to do so, you will not get the million thousand dollars and you will no longer have a job. However, it will take you a while to capture him...maybe 3 years or so."
My boss leans back in his chair and lights up a cigarette waiting for my response
"So what will it be?"
I look up at my boss, I want to say no but I dont want to disappoint him and I need that money. But 3 years?! Thats crazy! I stay quiet, and weigh the pros and the cons, thinking hardly if I want to take the job or not.
My boss looks at me waiting for an answer
"I'll do it"

The air is cold and crisped, I was sent out to do the mission I was assigned to do. I look around my surroundings to make sure I wasnt being followed by anyone and to see if I can spot out the famous Alexander Lupé myself. Its quiet, the only sounds that are around me is the sound of my heels clicking against the concreate and a few cars passing by. I feel eyes on me, I look around to see if anyone was there but there was no one.

I thought I was driving myself crazy and making myself paranoid. I take a deep breath to calm down and I brush it off and continue walking. "My my, what is a pretty little thing like you walking out here all alone?" A voice said from behind me, I turn around quickly. The guy looks at me and smirks. "Freeze!" I say pulling out my gun and pointing it at the person. "You have the right to remain silent."

The guy puts his hands up and smirks. "Relax beautiful, I was only asking what you were doing out here all alone." I look at him, "And why in the world should you ever care about that?" The guy looks into my eyes. "Because I'd hate for anything to happen to someone as beautiful as you." He gives me a devilish smirk and takes out his own gun and points it at me. In that very moment I knew who that was..
