What if Peter time traveled to save Tony Stark?

*3rd person POV*

Peter paced around his apartment, his guilt and grief at the max. Ever since Tony sacrificed himself, his life had turned to the worse. With Mysterio, with all the multiverse chaos, and now Peter had no one. Peter lied down on his bed, deciding to try and sleep it off, maybe, just maybe, he'll feel better in the morning. Leter eyes closed as he let sleep take him

Peter's Dream

Peter walked down the street in Berlin, rushing to S.H.I.E.L.D. Headquarters to meet with Nick Fury, when a hand grasped his shoulder. Peter whirled to face Mysterio. Mysterio smirked. "Poor, helpless peter parker... all alone." Peter suddenly is engulfed in the illusions. He could still hear Mysterio's voice loud and clear. "No one left who loves him. No one there. Remember Peter, Tony could've survived if you were good enough" The illusion showed Tony snapping his fingers with the infinity stone.

Peter woke up, trembling and sobbing. "Mr. Stark... i wish... i wish i could save you.." Peter sat there on his bed, crying, when he got an idea. "I know... i vould time travel to go save him. Just like he time traveled to save everyone..." Peter got out of bed and put on a jacket, before rushing out the door.

a few days later

Peter had snuck into Antman's house. He took some of the pym particles, and found one of the suits they had used for time travel. Deep down, he knew that stealing was bad, but but he was desperate. Desperate to save Mr. Stark.

After putting on the time traveling suit. He snuck back to the van, which had the machine. He started up the machine and typed the time coordinates into the navigator on his suit. He hit go and went though the machine.

Now in the time of Endgame

The battle was everywhere. Thanos' forces against the heroes. Peter pulled off the time traveling suit, tossing it aside before activating the nano-tech suit Mr. Stark had given him. He swung up, trying to spot Mr. Stark. Eventually, he saw him, and swung over. Tony was going against Thanos, but was pushed to the side, then Captain Marvel went against Thanos. Peter swung to Thanos while he was distracted by Captain Marvel, and grabbed the infinity stones off of the gauntlet.

Tony spotted Peter. "Kid? Peter, what are you doing?" Peter put the stones onto his suit, the nano-tech rearranging themselves to fit the stones. Peter looks up at Tony and gave a sad smile. "Im doing what needs to be done."

Tony's eyes widened in horror. "Kid.. Peter.." Peter looked back, a tear falling down his face. "I just wanted to be like you, Mr Stark..." Peter lifted his hand to snap. Tony rushed forward, "Peter, don't-" Peter snapped his fingers, ending the battle. As Thanos and his army disintegrated, Peter collapsed, breathing heavily. Tony caught him. "Kid... why?"

Peter looked up at Tony, "I.. I did what needed to be done, im sorry mr. Stark." Peter's eyes closed slowly as Tony hugged him. "Pete, kid, no. Stay with me kid." Stark hugged Peter's body.

Then Peter died. Tony collapsed to his knees. "No... kid..."

Dr. Strange walked over. "This is... impossible. This is not the one future I saw." Tony's head jerked up. "What? What did you see?" Dr. Strange looked down at Tony. "In the one future I saw, you sacrifice yourself to save everyone. Not the kid."

"Mr. Stark? Whats going on?" Tony turned to find another Peter walking towards him. "What? Kid?" Tony double checked to see that there were two Peters. Dr. Strange suddenly looked like he understood. "It appears, that the one future I saw did happen, that Peter," he points at the one laying on the ground. "Is from the future. He must've time traveled to save you."

Tony looked at the Peter that was alive. "Kid, im so glad your alive. I thought I lost you..." Mr. Stark got up and hugged the one that's alive. "Lets honor his, or your sacrifice and bury this Peter."

They all held a funeral for future Peter, and Morgan was able to grow up with her father.
