⌞ Cloud 9 - Beach Bunny ⌝I could, in fact, not fight. I got beaten up so badly. I was on the floor, my chest going up and down violently. I wish I didn’t wake up today.
“Break’s over!”
“Noooooo!!! I’m going to die if I continue!”
“Come on, one more time!”
I swear to God that he loved seeing me suffer. In the 2 hours I have known him-
“Hello?” a familiar voice said. Thank the Lord and every entity above for creating this perfect man!
“Oh my. Yeosang, you have done a number on her…”
“In my defense! She said she could fight!”
I heard Yunho laugh softly.
“Can I borrow her?”
Yeosang raised an eyebrow but agreed.
Yunho helped me up to my feet and kept holding my hand all the way to my room.
“Have you eaten?” he asked me.
“No. Have you?”
He smiled.
“Do you want to eat out with me?” he asked avoiding eye contact.
“Yeah, sure. Just let me get changed,” I said.
I put on a white button-up with a gray sweatshirt over. I changed into a short dark gray pencil skirt. Instead of my sneakers, I put on some knee-length heeled black boots.
I brushed my teeth and applied a little makeup.
Then I went out.
Yunho was waiting for me, typing nervously on his phone.
“I’m sorry, have you been waiting for long?”
He looked me up and down then turned his gaze away, his ear tips going red.
“No, it’s okay… let’s go,” he told me grabbing my hand.
He walked me out to Maison’s garage and led me to a black motorcycle.
“Hop on!” he told me, giving me a helmet.
I put it on and sat behind him, placing my hands on his waist.
He started it up and we left Maison behind. I held onto him tighter, wrapping my arms around his chest. We stopped a few minutes later in the parking lot of a park.
“I’ll leave the bike here. We’ll walk to the café I have in mind.”
We walked side by side, our hands, brushing against each other.
Suddenly, I heard footsteps.
Not ours.
These were synchronized with ours, you could barely hear them if you didn’t pay attention.
“There is someone behind us,” I whispered-yelled to Yunho.
“For how long?”
“I’m not sure…”
“Let’s move a little around and see if they are still behind us,” he told me slightly agitated.
We walked a little more, taking small turns. The person was still following us.
“Okay, on the count of three, hold my hand, and let’s run… one, two, three!”
I grabbed his hand and ran as fast as I could. I was surprised when he was running as fast as I was, he didn’t want to leave me behind him.
Suddenly, he pulled me into a dark alleyway. He placed me against a wall, his palm on my mouth.
We were both breathing heavily.
We heard the footsteps approaching. The stalker was grumbling angrily.Yunho came closer to me, removing his palm from my mouth and resting it on my rosy cheek. His other hand was on the back of my head. A nice thought I caught myself thinking. He didn’t want me to get injured in the run.
Yunho leaned over me. I put my hands on his hips. He crooked his head down. Now, our breaths were one. He looked down at my lips and then up at me again.
“I think we are safe now,” he said turning his head away, eyes searching for any other possible threat.
I wish I could hold him a little longer.
Because I won’t ever find a person as perfect as him.“I’m sorry… I wanted to take you out for food so much that I forgot about the war…” he said embarrassed.
In that moment, I realized he could look at me with any kind of hurt, disgust, or disappointment and I’d be useless. He could leave me at any time and all I’d be is a corpse, surviving because I have to, but with no hope of finding any love that could match the feeling of loving him.I chuckled.
“It’s okay. We are safe now, aren’t we? We should go eat,” I said brushing his hair out of his face.
“Yeah, we should,” he told me smiling softly.
“Let’s get out of this dirty alley.”
