A/N: This is a month later... I'm losing the plot, so I've got to fast forward the book, apologies.
Hazel's Pov
I strolled down the aisle of the supermarket as I searched for peppermint. Alessio had told me to by some for some security purposes.
I find it dumb because I can defend myself with some combat but he says some motherfuckers need to be sprayed in the eyes with it, so here I am.
After a couple more of strolling, I finally found the spray and I'm on my way to the cashier. I stayed on the queue as I observed the supermarket.
The interior decoration is very pretty, the shelves had very beautiful designs. Every corner had a theme.
"Next" The cashier called as I moved forward. "Hi" I smiled to her, bringing out my stuffs from the cart and placing it on the counter. She grabbed the goods, scanning it as she shoved them into a plastic bag.
"And that'd be twenty four hundred" She said, her eyes still fixated on the screen. I brought out Alessio's credit card from my pocket and shoved it towards her.
She scanned the card as her eyes widened in horror. "A-Alessio Hyde?" She stammered as I looked at her in confusion.
"Yes. Is there a problem?" I chuckled dryly. She handed me the credit card and the plastic bags that my stuffs were in.
"N-nothing" She forced a smile on her face as I looked at her in confusion, strolling towards Lit as I handed him some of the bags.
"What did she say to you?" Lit asked as I looked up to him. "Nothing personal" I looked back to the counter but she wasn't there anymore. What's up with her?
"She just acted weird when she saw Alessio's name on the credit card" I shrugged as Lit's lip tilted up a little forming a smirk. "Let's go" He slightly pushed me, as we made our way out of the supermarket.
Walking towards the black SUV with Lit behind me, I opened the passenger door getting to the passenger seat after putting the groceries into the trunk.
Lit ignited the engine, bringing the car to life, setting it on the road on the road as we drove back home. I leaned my head on the window watching the trees as soft music played on the radio.
"Ms Hazel?" Lit tapped me softly, waking me up as I squinted my eyes to look at him.
"Are we home yet?" I asked, my voice sounding hoarse and sleepy. He nodded slightly.
I yawned, as I climbed out of the car. "Where are the groceries?" I asked, looking at the empty trunk.
"Inside of the house, I had packed them in before I woke you up" He stated making me smile. "Thank you" I tapped his shoulder, walking past him into the house.
Getting into the house, the living area was empty as I called out Alessio's name but no one answered.
"Ally?" I called walking towards his study. I pushed the door open slightly, peeking my head inside as I saw Them.
The people who has grown to be my favorite people.
"Hey Hazel" Lionel greeted as I walked into the room. "No more Marisol, huh?" I nudged him with my elbow, making Antonio chuckle.
"He can't Hazel. He has a Marisol now!" Antonio teased as I rounded the table going to meet Alessio. He wrapped his arm around my waist, as I leaned down to peck him on the lips.
"You've bought them?" He asked as he looked up to me. Rolling my eyes,I nodded my head.
"Speaking of which, Lionel" I turned to face him as amusement was written all over his face.
"You came back to Spain? And you left Marisol in Mexico?"
"Naturalmente lui l'ha portata." Antonio replied for him as I shot him a pointed look.
"You know I don't speak Italian"
"What about Spanish?" Antonio asked.
I denied as he shot Alessio a look.
"Non le hai insegnato nessuna delle lingue"
"Idiota! Vuoi che lei origili la nostra conversazione mentre parliamo? E se stiamo parlando della morte dei suoi. genitori?" Alessio replied through gritted teeth causing Antonio to roll his eyes.
"La tua scelta, fratelli! Lei lo scoprirebbe in giorno, fidati. Riacquisterebbe la memoria, che tu lo voglia o no" Antonio said. I looked at them in confusion not understanding anything of what they just said.
Being the matured one, Lionel replied me. "Marisol is upstairs. She'd need some company don't you think" I nodded as I walked out of the room, not sparing anyone of them a glance.
They all understood english perfectly, why do they speak in a strange language whenever I am around. What is it they are hiding?.
I shrugged the thoughts away as I climbed up the stairs to meet with Marisol. I placed a knock on the door waiting for her permission to enter into the room.
"The door isn't locked" She said from inside the room as I pushed the door open, strolling in.
"Hi" I greeted as I walked into the room. "Hey" She replied sending me a short wave.
"You must be Marisol" I sat on the bed, beside her. "I'm Hazel" I introduced myself..
"I know" She said making me amused.
"Lionel must have told you?" I asked, looking at her face as she shook her head.
"Hazel Brown" Her eyes met me. "Lionel and I don't talk well. You're the daughter of Gabriel Brown and Margaret Brown" She said as if she knows about them.
I blinked several times as I tried to process what she had just said. "Y-Y-Y-You know my p-p-parents?" I stuttered.
"Nenhum" She said, before chuckling. "Hazel! I'm joking" She snapped me out of the trance I was in as I chuckled dryly.
"You were joking?" I asked.
"Si" She nodded. "I was just pulling your legs my dear. Those names? They were total guessing" She pssted, waving a hand in dismissal.
I forced a smile on my face and tried to believe what she had said but my guts wouldn't let me at all. Something tells me she was lying.
I'm becoming Annoyed the more time goes and so confused.
