Thirty One

Hazel's Pov

The thought of the revelation I had today was flying inside of my head as I looked out of the window of the cab. It isn't much of a coincidence if the name Marisol claimed to be my parents is actually what Alexa and Oliver said. Even Eduardo or Mufasa, whatever he called himself.

"We've arrived at your destination ma'am" The cab driver called my attention drifting me out of my thoughts. I forced a smile on my face as I paid him, climbing him out of the car.

I shielded my hair with my hand from the pouring rain as I jogged towards the gate. I got into the compound, jogging towards the doorstep.

I pushed the door opened, walking into the house as I saw Antonio sitting on the couch. His eyes drifted from the television to my body.

"Hazel" He walked towards me as I moved back from him. "Where's Alessio?" I asked not wanting to have any petty conversation with no one right now.

"His study" I thanked him, walking towards the study, placing a knock on the door before getting inside.

"Antonio you should have..."

"It's Hazel" I said shivering as I cut him off. "Hazel?" He stood up from his chair facing the wall as he walked towards me.

"Why are you drenched with water?" He asked, bringing his hand forward to touch me but I took a step away from him. He propped a brow looking at me in confusion.

"Why did you lie to me?" I asked curtly as I glared at him.

"Hazel? What are you talking about?" His eyes danced around my face, probably searching for a hint of joke but this girl ain't joking here.

"Alessio, why did you lie to me?"I repeated.

"About what?"

"About my fucking parents Alessio!" I nagged. "You could just have told me that they were both killed by some bad people but you've decided to paint my father black?" Tears poured down my face as I stared at him in disbelief.

"You're so unbelievable" I scoffed.

He moved closer to me, fear written all over his face. "Hazel?" His hand came forward to touch my face but I smacked it before it could even reach my face.

"And going to meet with my friends and telling them to stay away from me? That's so low shit"

"You met with them?" He asked. I nodded making him curse under in breath in some Spanish or Italian words.

"Look Alessio" I said grabbing his attention. "I'm done playing games! I can't stay in a relationship where it's full of lies and deceit." I walked away from him strolling towards the door.

"Where are you going?" His voice sounded from behind me.

"Somewhere away from you" I bit back not even trying to stare at him as I walked out of the study, slamming the door really hard behind me.

I walked past Antonio who was calling my name but I ignored him as I walked out of the house, into the rain once more. I'm really going to get a fever.

"Hazel?" Lit's voice called making me halt. I turned around to face him, giving him a sheepish smile.

"Where are you heading to in this weather?" He asked.

I sighed. "Getting away from Alessio and his lies" Something in his eyes changed and I can't seem to pinpoint it.

"Atleast, let me give you a ride" He offered, making me smile at him. He walked towards the passenger door, opening it up for me as I got into. I watched him, go round the car to the driver's door, opening it and entering.

He ignited the engine, setting the car on the road.

"Why are you getting away from the boss. I mean, how do you know he is lying?" Lit asked breaking the comfortable silence. I glanced at him, but his attention was still fixated on the road ahead of us.

"Where are you taking me?" I asked, not wanting to answer the question he asked. Lit is nice and all, he's been nice to me but that doesn't mean I can't confide in him or something.

"Somewhere that would blow your mind away" The side of his lips tilted up to a smirk making me chuckle softly.

The rain poured heavily as I looked at Lit from the wheel screen of the car as he tried to sort somethings out in the trunk. I became bored of sitting inside of the car alone as I opened the door, climbing out of the car.

Lit's head shot up as he looked at me.

"What are you doing here?" He asked as he wiped away the water from his forehead.

"We've been here for the past thirty minutes" I looked around at our surrounding. "We are in a fucking alley!" I whisper yelled.

"I know and I'm trying to do some stuff here, ma'am. So if you'd do me the favor and get into the car" He said, taking back his attention back to the bonnet where he tried to fix somethings.

I rolled my eyes at him, going back into the car when two black mercedes jeeps halted in the alley too. Two huge men climbed out of the car as my heart started to panic.

"Lit" I tried calling his attention as I moved back. "Hazel..." His eyes shot up as he saw those men approaching us. He got in front of me, shielding me with his body.

"Run" he told me as I ran out of the alley, trying to seek help. I turned to the right side of the road but I was hit on the head with a very heavy thing.

I went down on my knees, feeling dizzy as I held my head feeling blood drip out of it before everything went blank.
