ALINA

A strong odor stung my nose. It was a chemical smell. Something like- chloroform.

They knocked me out with chloroform!

I opened my eyes and reached up through the darkness to only almost immediately come into contact with the coffin lid.

It wouldn't budge.

Dammit!

Hopelessness consumed me. Bakugou's blood was fading. I could begin to feel the burning sensation blossom in my chest. The itch was starting in the back of my throat. I needed to feed and soon.

"Fuck!" I slammed my fists against the lid in frustration.

"Hello? Who's there?"

I froze as a muffled voice came from nearby. A small ember of hope flickered inside of me.

"Hello?! Can you hear me? I'm trapped, please help!" I slapped my hands against the lid repeatedly.

"Who is that?" They called back.

"It's Alina! I need help, please! I'm in here, let me out!" I proceeded to bang on the coffin in hopes that whoever was out there could help me.

"Alina, is that you? It's Kirishima! I can't really hear you, I'm in a freaking coffin!" I could hear the faint sound of his voice followed by a long bang.

"Can you get out?" I shouted.

"No, I can't even use my quirk something's wrong." He replied faintly.

I lay my head back and groaned.
"Dammit!"

If Kirishima couldn't use his hardening quirk to break out of the coffin how could we escape? I was starting to lose hope.

Better question, how can we escape before that creep comes back?

I was starting to worry that the creepy keeper would come back any second and knock us both out again. I worried that they did something to Kirishima to prevent him from using his quirk.

"Hold on Kirishima, I'll get us out." I promised although I didn't have the slightest idea of how to do it.

"Wait! No! Stop! Let me go! Alina!!!" Kirishima's terrified voice echoed in my coffin.

"Kirishima?!" I called banging against the lid desperately.

"Alina!" His strangled voice trailed off as if he was being dragged away.

"Don't touch him, you bastard!" I slammed my fists against the side of the coffin.

Tears of frustration welled in my eyes. I had to save my friend. I hated feeling so useless.

What would Bakugou do?

A thought occured to me and I wanted to smack myself for not thinking of it earlier.

Wait- I still have a little of Bakugou's blood still in me. I just hope it's enough.

Closing my eyes I flipped my inner switch feeling the vampire in me taking over. I held tightly onto the thin thread that tethered me to humanity as I channeled Bakugou's quirk in my blood.

Focus. Come on. Come on.

I rubbed my hands together warming them considerably and I could feel my palms start to heat and sweat.

Come on, shoot!

I pressed my palms against the side of the coffin at the seal and BOOM!

The seal broke and I used my vampiric strength to shove the lid open. Air filled my lungs as I was finally able to take a deep breath.
