Chapter 10

The girls hugged Maddie good bye and made their way back to the student lounge. "So, do you want to tell us why you won't stay?" Frankie asked kindly. "It's just that my mother told me not to come back to her until I stopped talking 'nonsense' which I am not and I will not stop talking like this until things change and she accepts me" explained Raven. "Oh my ghoul, I am so sorry" said Frankie sympathetically. I say sympathetically instead of empathetically because there really wasn't much that Frankie could do about the situation. "Do you need to come stay with one of us for a little while?" asked Frankie. "No, I'm good, I've got a dorm and plenty of friends back at home." "Raven, you literally only have like four friends." Apple added. "That's plenty compared to what I use to have." Raven explained.

"Cleo, there you are!" exclaimed Apple. Cleo was laughing at how bad the normie magazines where when the girls walked in, but not crazy laughs, just little giggles. "I really need to talk to you some more." "Puh-lease, about what?" Cleo checked her nails sounding unimpressed. "You know about princess stuff." "Nuh-uh-uh, I am way more than just a princess, I am the queen of this school." "Well, I'm more than just a princess too, I am the most important fairy tale." "Snow-White the most important fairy tale, puh-lease your asleep for part of it. Apple gasped and put her hand to her mouth. 

Cerise could really feel something in the shadows, "Guys, I must go see who's in the shadows." Cerise explained wanting to get out of the students lounge as she did not enjoy conflict. "Um, were got some catching up to do with someone." Frankie said grabbing Draculaura's and Clawdeen's hands. "Um, Apple, maybe we should go with them" Raven said as she pulled Apple away from Cleo and Cerise followed.  "So she's just gonna walk away, pathetic isn't it, Ghoulia?" Cleo checked her nails again. "Uhhhhh." "Well, Ghoulia, I've got to catch up with Deuce." "Uh-hh" Ghoulia said standing in the middle of the student lounge all alone while Cleo left the room.
