Chapter 4

Cerise, Maddie, and Raven had made it to the other end of the portal, which seemed to be inside another dark room but unlike the other dark room, it seemed more monstrous. "Oh, I hope Apple didn't change her mind." said Raven. "Don't be such a worry flurry, you know Apple want's to stop your mother. Apple fell into the monster world. "Ouch, that really hurts." she said. "How long does it take for this pain to wear off?" "It still hurts a little for me." said Raven. "Me too" said Maddie. "What are you guys talking about?, It doesn't hurt at all anymore" said Cerise. The reason Cerise had already healed from the fall is because she's part wolf but Apple didn't know that. Maddie and Raven smirked at Cerise. "What's going on, guys?" asked Apple as she got up. "Oh, nothing." said Raven. "I feel like there's something you guys aren't telling me." "Look, Apple, I don't think it's something that you can handle." said Raven. "I can handle anything ever since I found out that Daring's not my destined prince". "Okay, well, you might wanna sit down for this, as long as Cerise is okay with telling the secret, would you like to share your secret, Cerise?" "Well, I guess with all the things happening such as you finding out that Daring is not your destined prince, it wouldn't hurt." "I'm listening" said Apple as if she was actually an emotionally mature person like she thought she was. "My family is hiding a big bad secret." Cerise said as she pulled her hood down. Apple stared at Cerise partly surprised, partly confused. "So those aren't fake silly wolf ears." said Apple questionably. "No, they're not, the truth is, instead of getting eaten by my dad, my mom ended up falling in love with him, and then they had Ramona and I." said Cerise feeling like she got a lot of her chest even though Raven and Maddie already knew her secret. "Oh, how could I be so stupid?" Apple asked no one in particular as she hid her face inside her hands. Raven put her hand on Apple's shoulder, "Your not stupid, Apple" she said  "Well, I was really gullible to think that fairy tales would perish for not following their destiny just because Headmaster told us." Cried Apple.  " Well, I still don't know what would happen if he found out because, one time I had a dream that I came out and he made my parents disappear, so please don't tell anyone." said Cerise looking down at her feet. "I promise I won't tell anyone" said Apple. "You better not" said Raven, suspicious of Apple. "I swear on my destiny, I won't" "Good" said Raven

"Okay, well, I guess we need to get out of this room" said Raven. "Well since I opened the last door, I guess I'll open this door" Cerise ran up to the door as she pulled her hood back down. "Ugh, I think the door is locked." She said, her voice sounding more raspy than usual."Great!" said Raven feeling irritated. "I know, Raven, we can just Face Time Astranova." said Apple actually having a helpful thought for once. "Good idea" said Raven as she pulled out her mirror phone and searched for Astranova in her contacts. Raven clicked "Face Time" on Astranova's profile and her contacts and waited as patiently as she could but ended up getting a robot answering the phone saying " this phone is not in reach of service right now" said a robot voice "Ugh" said Raven, even more irritated. Maddie started knocking on the door but it wasn't loud enough to anything. Raven put her mirror phone back and started knocking on the door as hard as she could. 

"Now what is all that ruckus?" asked Operetta to no one in particular considering she was alone. Operetta searched the catacombs for the noise until she came across the door that the noise was definitely coming from. "Let us out!" said Apple. "Of course sweet cheeks." Operetta tried to open the door but discovered that it was locked on both ends. "Sorry honey, it looks like the door is locked from both ends, I'll go see if I can find a key for ya."
