I Need You

Chapter 3

Jai and me haven't spoken since the double date with Suzie and Timmy. I had seen him around school but he never said anything to me nor attempted to, I was starting to think he was pulling a prank on me. I only agreed to go on a date with him because I had never been asked before, so I thought I would take the opportunity and try something new for a change. I had heard that there was a party tonight but I had not planed to attend. What they usually do is get drunk and dance, I didn't feel like having a hang over. It was lunch time already, it felt like the day had just begun. I went to go sit with Vivian over at the next table over when I felt my arm being pulled, forcing me to sit. I turned to find Jai sitting right next to me, he had pulled me down next to him.

"There's a party tonight, want to go with me?" he asked with questioning eyes.

"I wasn't planing on going..." I said sheepishly.

"I'll pick you up at ten then," he says picking up his lunch tray and walking away from the table leaving me sitting there confused about what just happened. I picked up my tray walking over to where Vivian was sitting, turning my head to see Suzie giving me angry eyes. Placing my tray next to Vivian.

"I was just invited to the party tonight night by Jai,"

"OMG!!! We have to get you a dress!!" she said hardly able to contain her excitement.

*Time laps*

We had been shopping for hours, she had me try on every out fit in the shop, none of them looked good on me. We went to the last shop and we tried on clothes for it seems hours, she finally pulled the last dress out and handed it to me, when I came out of the dressing room she looked pleased about the out fit I was wearing. I went to the mirror on the other side of the room and looked at myself. I looked good, not pretty, but noticeable.

"I think I like this one," she smiled at me, I felt it also.

*Time laps* 

I waited patiently in my dorm waiting for Jai to come get me. I could hear foot steps coming towards my door I opened it right when he was about to knock I stepped outside he looked interested in me with his leering eyes, I could see they were aimed straight down me.

"Are we ready to go?" I asked attempting to break the leering stares he was giving me.

"Ahh.. ya," He began walking towards the door leading out side. He reached back and grabbed my hand to hold. It was a little weird for me, I had never been to a party or held hands with a boy in my entire life. But deep down I knew I enjoyed ever minuet of it, even if it was with a strange boy that I had hardly known.
