I woke up after ten minutes and saw that he left the room. He decided to give me some space after everything that happened. I couldn't sleep that night. Even when my body automatically fell asleep, I would wake up after a minute since all I could see was Luke killing Suzu. What am I going to tell Chava? What happened to his sister? After a few times of me waking up, I gave up. I went to the kitchen to grab coffee so I wouldn't sleep again and walked back to the room. All night I was planning how would I get revenge. I had to stop Saucedo even if it meant that I was going to lose my life.
I hadn't realised that it was morning now. Lino walked to my room and came over to the bed. "How are you feeling Chula?" He said. I just looked at him, blank. I felt... nothing. Absolutely nothing. The last time this happened, it didn't end well for the enemy. It was when I decided that I didn't want to be part of Saucedo's team and wanted to leave but they wouldn't let me. That night there were reported dead 30 cops of the DEA. Lino must have gotten concerned about me since he pulled me in for a hug. I didn't move. Not even to haug him back. After a few seconds he let me go and stood up. "Vamos chula. I have something to show you." Lino said and I stood up and followed him.
We went to the closet and he showed me a beautiful white short dress and told me to take a shower and put it on because we had to go somewhere. And I did as I was told. We got in the car and Lino started driving somewhere. It was a long ride. At first I didn't want to go considering what happened last night but along the ride Lino made sure to change my mind. He was saying stupid staff and soon enough my mood changed. Don't get me wrong, I was still a mess from Suzu's death but being with Lino made it somewhat better.
We arrived at a ... barbeque? Three men were taking the meat out of the underground oven sonce it was ready and a big old man came to us greeting Lino. "And who's the chica Lino? Your girlfriend?" He asked as he sat us at a table. Lino flashed a smile as an answer which really confused me. Why did he agree? The man left us alone and we started eating. We finished and headed home.
When we arrived we saw Poyo waiting for us. "We've found the snitch. She's had a chip in her phone. They're all waiting." And with that Lino grabbed my arm and pulled me inside. There I saw Isobel. It was her. We almost died because of her. But that doesn't mean she should be killed. Lino started saying something about betrayal as I had my eyes locked on Isobel. She regretted everything. I could tell. As Lino pulled out his gun, I tried to stop him but Chivo was ordered to get me to the side. I screamed and cried for Lino to not kill her but he didn't listen. He pulled the trigger and killed her. I was tired of people getting hurt and me not being able to do anything. I went and sat on the balcony of our room silent.
A few hours later Lino came in. He came closer but I didn't bother to move. He put his hand on my shoulder and spoke "Chula, I did what I had to. Sometimes you have to do terrible things to survive." He paused for a minute but then continued. "Everything will be better tomorrow, trust me. Go get some sleep." And with that he left. But I didn't move from there. I stayed in the balcony like that all night. I didn't sleep and I didn't move.

Miss Bala
RomanceThis is my version of the movie "Miss Bala" and how I wanted it to go. Because one thing we all can agree on is that Lino and Gloria should have been together. However I changed Gloria's name. Enjoy!
