"i would choose you in every lifetime" j.b

walker scobell always been good at juggling between school, friends, and his secret life as spider-man, he had mastered the art of balancing between both worlds—until tonight. the city was still reeling from the chaos caused by a new villain with dangerous technology, and walker had barely escaped unscathed. his injuries were minor, but they were enough to worry his girlfriend, y/n.

she had been more than a little suspicious lately, piecing together the inconsistencies in walkers stories and the mysterious bruises that appeared and disappeared. tonight, as walker limped into his room, y/n was waiting for him.

"walker, we need to talk," she said, her voice trembling with a mix of frustration and concern.

walker glanced at her, his heart sinking. "y/n/n, i—"

"don't 'y/n/n' me, walker. i've had it up to here with your excuses. you keep disappearing, getting hurt, and you won't tell me why. i'm not stupid. i know something is going on."

walker ran a hand through his disheveled hair. he had always managed to keep his secret, but the weight of his double life had become too heavy. he looked at y/n, her eyes filled with worry, and knew he couldn't keep the truth from her any longer.

"okay," he said quietly, "i'll show you."

he led her to his makeshift spider-man hideout, a small room beneath his home where he kept his suit and gear. as he opened the door, y/n's eyes widened with shock. the sight of the suit, the web-shooters, and the high-tech gadgets was overwhelming.

"this is—" y/n began, but her voice faltered.

walker stepped inside, his heart racing. y/n looked at him, trying to process everything. "you're kidding, right? this can't be real."

"it's real," walker said, his voice steady despite the turmoil inside. "i've been spider-man for almost a year now. i didn't want to tell you because i wanted to protect you from the dangers that come with it."

y/n's emotions were a whirlwind. "so all those times you were 'busy' or 'working late'—you were out fighting criminals?"

walker nodded. "yes. it's a big responsibility. i've saved lives, but it comes with risks. i never wanted to put you in danger by involving you in this."

y/n's expression softened as she took in the gravity of walkers confession. "i can't believe this. but why didn't you trust me with the truth? i could have been there for you."

"i didn't want you to worry. i didn't want to risk you getting hurt because of me."

y/n's gaze was intense. "but i care about you, walker. i want to be a part of your life, even the dangerous parts. you can't keep me in the dark forever."

walker was silent, the weight of her words sinking in. "i know. i just— i didn't know how to handle it."

a loud crash echoed from outside, and walkers spider-sense flared up. y/n looked alarmed. "what's happening?"

walkers expression hardened. "it's him. the villain i was fighting earlier. he's after something, and it might be coming this way."

y/n grabbed walkers arm. "i'm coming with you."

"no, y/n, it's too dangerous."

"i'm not staying behind. i'm involved now, whether you like it or not."

walker hesitated but saw the resolve in her eyes. "fine. stay close, and stay safe."

they raced out of the hideout, navigating through the dark streets to confront the threat. the villain, a tech-savvy criminal named volter, had taken refuge in an abandoned warehouse. walker and y/n approached cautiously.

inside, volter was in the midst of assembling a powerful device. the room was filled with sparks and electrical noise. walker swung in, webbing up the villain's equipment while y/n stayed close behind, her eyes wide with fear but determination.

"spider-man!" volter roared, turning to face him. "you're too late! this device will plunge the city into darkness!"

walker lunged at volter, but the villain countered with electrical blasts. walker dodged and webbed volter's hands to the wall, but the villain was relentless. y/n, watching from the side, saw an opportunity to help. she grabbed a stray piece of metal and used it to disable the villain's power source, causing a surge that temporarily stunned volter.

walker took advantage of the moment, webbing the villain tightly and securing him. as volter was apprehended, walker turned to y/n, who was catching her breath.

"you did great," he said, his voice filled with gratitude.

y/n managed a weak smile. "you weren't so bad yourself."

they returned to walker's hideout, where he removed his mask and suit. y/n looked at him with a mix of admiration and concern.

"walker, i don't know what the future holds, but i'm here for you. i want to be a part of this. just promise me you'll be careful."

walker nodded, his heart lighter. "i promise. and thank you for being so understanding. i know this isn't easy."

as they embraced, the weight of secrets and danger seemed a little lighter. they faced the challenges ahead, not just as walker and spider-man, but as partners who had faced the truth together.
