*Octavia outfit ^^^*
After everything had calmed down, me, Rick and Morales walked back as I broke away to sit on the pipe next to Merle. Morales had T-dog about the signal to the radio,"How's the signal?"
"Like Dixon's brain-weak."
I nudged Merle with my boot when he said nothing but flipped T off with his free hand, "Can you keep trying?"
"Why? There's nothing they can do. Not a damn thing." Andrea spoke before walking away from her place on the ledge to dig around in a bag.
"Got some people outside the city is all. There's no refugee center. That's just a pipe dream." Morales adds, to clear up the confusion for Rick.
"Then she's right. We are on our own," Rick turned his head to look at us as he kept his hands on the ledge,"It's up to us to find a way out."
"Good luck with that," Merle commented from his spot, cuffed one handed to the pipe, on my right,"These streets ain't safe in this part of town from what I hear. Ain't that right, sugar tits?"
"Merle, knock it off and leave her alone." I sighed, pulling a hair tie off my wrist to pull my hair up into a messy bun as a few pieces fell against my face.
"Hey,honeybunch, what say you get me out of these cuffs, we go off somewhere and bump some uglies? Gonna die anyway." Merle just continued as if I had not said a word.
"I'd rather." Andrea didn't even spare him a glance as she continued searching through the bag before standing and walking away.
"Rug muncher. I figured as much." Was his only before he turned to me as I just shook my head as I stood looking down at him.
"Don't even, Merle." As I turned and walked over to Glenn to sit, not hearing anything else from him.
I sat in deep thought on different ways to get us out of the city, not noticing that Glenn had gotten up until his voice pulled me back,"How do you know that?"
"It's my job-was" Jacqui said as we all looked at her in thought, well except for me.
"What are we talking about?" I asked, looking confused as Glenn explained everything that was said while I was zoned out,"That could actually work."
We all followed, except T, Glenn down to an opening in the floor with a ladder that looked to lead to the sewers under the streets.
"This is it? Are you sure?" Morales asked, everyone holding a flashlight down to the entrance of a hole big enough for a person to stand up in.
"I really scoped this place out the other times I was here. It's the only thing in the building that goes down. But I never gone down it." Glenn spoke as we looked down in thought of who would be the brave person to go in,"Who'd want to, right?"
Unlucky for me I just so happened to be standing next to Glenn when all eyes fell on us as we exchanged looks between the two of us.
"Hell no, I don't due smelly sewer pipes." I spoke up, crossing my arms, standing my ground on the notion.
"We'll be right behind yo-"
"No, you won't. Not you." Glenn said, only for Andreas' pride to show and give attitude.
"Why not me? Think I can't"
"I wasn't-"
"Speak your mind" Rick told him calmly, while I gave an encouraging nod for Glenn to speak up.
"Look, until now I always came here by myself -in and out, grab a few things- no problem. The first time I bring a group- everything goes to hell.No offense." He spoke, explaining calmly to the group,"If you want me to go down this gnarly hole, fine-but only if we do it my way."
