"Doroteya, you're five minutes late, you know that right? I expect you to be earlier next time," Mr.Ivorine scolded. "It is not acceptable for anybody to be late seven times in a row, and you should know that!"

Doroteya knew that for sure. She had been reminded of it seven times in a row, of course. Plus, her last name was literally Khaos. But she didn't feel like fixing the issue anytime soon. Sleep would always be way more necessary than any history class ever taught. She rolled her eyes and replied with a grim, "I know. I'll do better next time," even though she knew she probably wouldn't. "Good. You better keep your word this time."

Mr.Ivorine gave a faint smile, tapping on his wristwatch. "It's about time class started. Today, we will be learning all about a very special gemstone. Does anybody have a guess on what it is?"

A hand decorated from top to bottom with bracelets shot up beside Doroteya, the jingling sounds of them clanking together filling up her ears. She winced at the sound, reaching into her supply box for a pair of earplugs.

"Yes, Melanie? What is your guess?" Mr.Ivorine asked the pink haired girl who was obviously eager to answer the question. Nerd. Where were you born in, a library? Doroteya frowned, tapping her fingers on her desk. "Are we going to learn more about the Harmony and Peace Gemstone, sir?" Melanie replied, grinning from ear to ear. Doroteya shook the table a bit, making Melanie's glasses shake. "That is correct! Thank you for your participation."

Doroteya's frown softened up a little bit. She pulled out her notebook from a small box under her seat, and opened it up to the next blank page, which was in fact the first one. Mr.Ivorine's gaze landed on Doroteya. "Finally a topic that sparks your interest, young lady? The way you instantly brought out that empty notebook of yours proves it. Normally, you're attention span and memory of our lessons is as of a goldfish's, which isn't a lot if you're wondering." Pfft... it can't be that bad, old man. You're overexaggerating. She heard a few faint snickers coming from behind her. Shut it, losers.

"To begin on our unit on the Peace Gemstone, also known as the Gemstone of Harmony, we will start about the great four protectors," Mr.Ivorine continued. "Has anybody heard of any of the great four protectors?"

Melanie eagerly shot up her hand like a dart gun again. "Damn, you don't have to be that teacher's pet, princess annoying," Doroteya grumbled under her breath. Doroteya had heard of very minor things about the protectors of the Gemstone of Harmony, but never took too much interest into the idea. She remembered when she was younger, she had a dream of being one of them. "Ah, thank you Melanie, but uh... how about Miss.Khaos over here?" Mr.Ivorine raised a brow. "I'm sure you know something. Anything about them?" Doroteya could see Melanie droop over beside her.

"Why not let nerd girl- err- Melanie answer? She really seems like she knows more than I do." A couple kids in the back of the classroom snickered yet again, one harshly whispering, "Hot-head is screwed, no doubt!" Mr.Ivorine tapped his head. "Because you are as silent as a tree in class. You are... special. Now answer or your report card is as good as over, Doroteya."

Doroteya's frown returned again. She knew minimum about the topic, and what if what she knew was just false information? A random storyteller she saw on the street told her about it. "Story hobo," she called him when she was little. She also remembered him smelling a bit off. She also used to refer to him as, "Fishy stink guy." Doroteya could feel her palm starting to sweat. "The whole class is waiting. Doroteya, pay attention and stop zoning off!"

"Fine, old man- uh- Mr.Ivorine. I'm pretty sure one of them were named like Genesis Ringhoul or something like that. She had uh... powers that related to light and animals I think. I don't know for sure a random broke hobo told me tha-"
