The spring breeze swept the cherry blossoms into the light and fresh air.
Sparrows sang beautifully, whispering secrets to each other, perched high up on the tallest, most prettiest branches of the most gorgeous trees.
The sun was shining radiantly, beaming on woodland creatures and lush, growing plants. Where the sun shone best in Krosonia Forest, the most dreamy place anyone could possibly imagine, stood a great, towering cherry blossom tree. It's branches seemed to reach the sky, and even divine birds couldn't reach the top, despite their great efforts.
Flowers that reached out to someone when they drew close bloomed everywhere, welcoming newborn griffins and newly sprouted saplings. In the middle of the stunning Krosonia Forest stood a great hill. Big and wide, the hill supported the growth of lots of life. But it also supported the huge structure of Krosonia Highschool. Krosonia High, with it's dazzling and interesting build design, contained of course, students. However, these weren't normal students. These peculiar students all had magical powers, and studied how to control them and use them properly in Krosonia High.
A large and royal-like library was build underground, outside the white and golden walled Highschool. Shelves and shelves full of books lined the walls, so much so that it was like it never ended. Lovely, glowing chandeliers hang from the ceilings, and rows of tables were laid out so that students could have a quiet place to read and work. A single giant window acted as a wall, but yet allowed the students to look outside at the stunning forest.
The first floor of Krosonia Highschool consisted of an art class, cafeteria, potions and magic class, battle and defense class, and the principal's office. It was also decorated with the same beautiful chandeliers, but instead of the walls lined with books, they were lined with paintings that were elected the best every year.
The second floor consisted a math class, a writing class, a biology class, and a Staff Room. Near the hill was a small 'almost like village' group of dorm cottages. There, in his dorm room, sat a sleepy Atlas.
Atlas Mayflower was a dark blue haired 9th grader, with long, magestic horns that he occasionally used to carry his brushes and pencils for art with. Not to mention that he would carry a sketchbook no matter how small with him everywhere he went. His ability was that he was able to draw or doodle anything, and make it come to life, and even though he found his hands always cramped, the power wasn't that bad.
However, there were two exceptions. Bringing people back to life and killing people with his power was strictly forbidden. If this happened, Atlas would suffer severe consequences. He already lost his childhood best friend, Micah, to a dangerous soul that he had summoned himself as a consequence for trying to bring Micah's sister back to life.
The nagging guilt never left him once.
He attended Krosonia Highschool in honor of Micah because Micah always wanted to go along with Atlas. Dispite his short-temper, Atlas was an approachable person, which allowed him to socialize pretty well amongst other students.
He groaned, rubbing his eyes and mumbling to himself. Why must he fall asleep on his competition artwork (Which by the way, was still wet)? Scowling, he snatched a rag from his wooden brown desk. Atlas stared blankly at his watercolor scenery painting , all smudged and ruined. "It's destroyed- I can't possibly turn this in... the due date is next week!" He clenched his fist into a tight ball, rage seething inside him as he dabbed the paper.
"Shut up Atlas- you've been yapping about how your art is now ruined ever since the nanosecond you woke up!"
"I can't stop talking about it, David! God you're a terrible roommate," Atlas replied to the brown haired boy. David's golden rimmed glasses shone in the sunlight.
