The weekend was uneventful. Wednesday, my cat, had a vet appointment but other than that no much was going on.

Monday morning I wore my favorite plum colored dress. It was a scoop neckline, and flowed down to just at my knees. It had sleeves that came down to my elbows and I had a pair of heels that matched the color perfectly. They were rounded and strappy.

I only wore a little mascara and straightened my curly hair so that I looked tamed and professional.

Gathering my things, I pulled my phone from the charger, checking the time. As I did, the orange light was back making me pause for a moment. I didn't even know this was not normal, and it had always been there before. Not giving me any sort of problem, so I never gave it another thought.

"Miss Wednesday." I spoke, walking over to the cat tower, she was laying on. She almost blended with the black fabric, her fur all black, only her blue eyes visible from where she laid. "I will be back." I said, giving her a pat.

She stretched her leg and yawned before settling back within her curled up body. Traffic was light, and I actually got to the office a little early. I grabbed Jin a coffee, and unlocked his office gathering up all the things he needed for review on a big meeting he had later this week. I pulled the file, the contact list, as well as the resources that he asked for me to print earlier. I had them in my email on my phone so thankfully I was able to get it all addressed for him. I had it all laid out on his desk when Jin walked in.

"Good Morning." He greeted me.

"Good morning."

"How mad are you at me?" He asked.

"I just don't understand what your intent was." I said, sitting on the other side of his desk. He sat as well, and I handed him his coffee, him thanking me for it. "You know I have no interest in children. What in gods name made you think I'd become your brother's babymaker?"

He laughed at my words, carefully sipping his hot coffee. "That really wasn't my idea."

"Who's idea was it?"

"Hoseoks." He replied. "I know you don't want children-"

"So does Hoseok."

"And so does Hoseok." He continued. "But Taehyung has been trying to date the wrong women constantly. He's attracted to ball busting women of power, and don't get me wrong there is nothing wrong with that. But those kind of women maybe want one or two children. Not a heard of them. He is naïve to think he can have it all. Hoseok thought if he met someone like you, he'd start to see that. But then you said nothing about not wanting children."

"You said that you thought I'd like him."

"He's very handsome."

"That isn't all there is in a human, you know."

"I know." He sighed. "I'm sorry. I thought that lunch would go better. But, it surprised me you didn't bother texting him back."

"What do you mean?"

"He told me this morning that he texted you twice over the weekend. Once Friday night as a friendly 'nice to meet you' and then again on Saturday to try to spark conversation. You never replied."

Confused, I pulled out my phone looking through my messages. "Jin, I never got a text from him." I said, showing him my texts. I then looked through my contacts, and Taehyungs name is not even in there. "He didn't even fully save his number in my phone." I showed him. "I wasn't ignoring him."

"Oh that makes more sense." HE said taking my phone. "I thought it was unlike you to just ignore someone."

"Please let him know." I said. "And I would also let him know, brother to brother that its not going to happen. Don't make me the bad guy in his story."
