As Breanna walks outside, she sees that she's alone, so she grabs a wooden sword and she starts practicing. She imagines one of the stuffed practice dummies as her past and she goes all out on it for ten minutes straight. Twenty minutes later, Jayden walks outside in his training uniform to see Breanna sitting down by the, now destroyed, practice dummy.
"What happened out here," asks Jayden.
"I imagined my past as one of the practice dummies and I took all of my anger out on it," says Breanna.
"Wow, I've never seen one of the practice dummies like this before," says Jayden.
"I mean can you blame me?" asks Breanna.
"No, I don't blame you Bre. How long were you out here training?" asks Jayden.
"Thirty minutes," says Breanna.
"Well do you want to keep training?" asks Jayden.
"Sure, but I'm sorry I destroyed the practice dummy," says Breanna.
"It's okay Bre. I know you didn't mean it. Come on, I want to show you something," says Jayden as he and Breanna hold hands.
As Jayden and Breanna walk around to the backyard, Breanna sees a plaque in the garden.
"What is this?" asks Breanna.
"After my mom died, my dad, Ji, and I had this plaque made in memory of her. Three days later, Master Xandrid and the nylock started to attack. My dad and the samurai before us took them on, one last time. That was their final battle. The symbol that sealed Master Xandrid away is what me and the other samurai, who recently left, used to seal and destroy Master Xandrid forever," says Jayden.
"I'm sorry about your mom and dad. I had no idea," says Breanna.
"It's okay. It took me a long time to get over what happened to my mom and dad. I miss them everyday," says Jayden.
"I know what it feels like to have nobody who cares about you," says Breanna as tears begin to form in her eyes.
Breanna runs to the front and she sits down with her knees pressed against her chest and she starts crying her eyes out. Jayden runs after her about ten seconds later and he finds Breanna crying her eyes out. He sits next to her and Jayden puts his arm around her.
"Shhhhh, it'll be okay Bre. You're safe here with me," says Jayden softly.
Five minutes later, Breanna stops crying and she smiles at Jayden. They walk back inside and Breanna goes off to her room, where she showers and changes into some fresh clothes. As Breanna walks out of her room, she smells something. She runs to the kitchen, where she sees the oven on fire. Breanna grabs a fire extinguisher and she puts the flames out.
"Jayden get in here, quick!" yells Breanna.
Jayden runs into the kitchen, where he sees Breanna finishing up.
"What happened in here?" asks Jayden.
"I smelled something burning and when I ran into the kitchen, I saw the oven on fire and that's when I grabbed the fire extinguisher and it took three minutes to put all the flames out," says Breanna.
"You did the right thing Bre. Your quick thinking saved this house," says Jayden.
"But how did the oven catch on fire in the first place?" asks Breanna.
"I have no idea," says Jayden.
"Wait a minute," says Breanna as she looks inside the oven.
"What is it Bre?" asks Jayden.
"Somebody tampered with the fuel line. This wasn't an accident. This was arson," says Breanna.
"Who would do that?" asks Jayden.
"I have no idea, but you and I are the only one's here in the Shiba House. This is creepy though," says Breanna.
