"worst dinner"

Ariana's pov

"Graduation was yesterday and it was the best. I'm happy because I'm finally done with school, all the late nights and early morning.

I headed downstairs to get breakfast I saw my father, brother and mom.
I quickly ran down to give them a hug

"Morning " I said. "Morning my angel said dad". I sat down to eat dinner, before my dad said;

Angel, Lorenzo Marino and his family are back in town and they want us to meet for for dinner tonight at a restaurant.

"What"! They are back? It has already been 8 years, he can't be back! It suddenly felt hard to chew my food as I went upstairs back to my room.

"No no no" he can't be back. Oh god, how much I hate Lorenzo. He always bullied me back in school, Even tho our parents were best friends, I hated him.
I need to get him off my mind.

"I played music while I danced to take him off my mind.

Unfortunately it was night and we had to get ready for the dinner with the Marino's

And suddenly there was a knock on my door, "come in" I said, "are you ready yet? Ariana it's almost time get up! "Said mom"
I will be there soon mom.

I got up and got ready

This was the look.

I headed downstairs to find my family waiting for me

"I'm ready let's go...Oops! I forgot to carry a gun,let me get it real quick

Ok now let's go.
We got in the car and headed to the restaurant.
We arrived at the restaurant and quickly went to sit with Lorenzo and his family.
"Lorenzo's mom got up and hugged me and I hugged her back.

"It's feels so exciting for us to finally meet again, Ariana it been eight years now. We have missed you guys so much. Look this is Lorenzo "Said Lorenzo's mom.

I looked over to see a masculine man, oh my fuck! He's so hot.... I quickly came back to my senses, no, Ariana that's Lorenzo your worst enemy, he can't be hot.

We ordered our food me, my brother and Lorenzo silently ate our food as our parents chatted the night away.

Ariana and Lorenzo? they called our names to get their attention, we looked over to them.

"We are planning on marrying you and Lorenzo" said Lorenzo's dad.
I looked over to mom and dad hoping they say something...but they did nothing instead they nodded in agreement

"What?! I shouted, we only just met, you guys can't just marry us like that! We only met after eight years only for you guys to marry us together?

We are doing this for your safety Ariana..
No! Dad you are not,and I can take care of myself. You guys just want to sell me off right?

"Dad what Ariana said is true, they just met said Elio ( My brother's name)
"I know Elio but we are doing it to protect her" said dad.

I excused myself to go out and get some fresh air. Wait! Let Lorenzo go with you, my mom said

No! I am grown woman I can protect myself!

"Let me go with you" a deep voice said;

It was Lorenzo. I turned back to see him ready to go with me,I had no choice so we went together.

We got in the car and I drove to the nearby beach to get some things off my mind

I sat on the sand just looking at the sea.

I know you don't wanna marry me and I don't wanna marry you as well... Lorenzo said

We turned to face eachother, we could feel our hatred for eachother burn.

(Ariana grew up in America but Lorenzo grew up in Italy)
