my birthday

It was Friday today but most importantly it was my birthday I received a call from my brother at exactly 12:00 am wishing me a happy birthday I was super happy and it made my day I went to sleep afterwards

I woke up and starred outside my window, it's been four years since we lost our parents and since then my birthday hasn't felt the same.

I got dressed and headed downstairs to see Lorenzo standing there with a bouquet of flowers, they were tulips to be specific, it's my favourite flower, how did he know.... Just as I was locked in my thoughts he walked up to me.

Ariana he called out, happy birthday, would you like to go on a date with me?

That was such an informal way of asking be more  formal I said to him but way too straightforward

He looked me straight in the eyes and my said "My lady, I've been in love with you for as long as I can remember, please consider going on a date with me I'll treat you well as you deserve.

Fine I said
He held my hand as I wondered where we were going, we talked about a lot of things on the way which was weird because we weren't this close and all of a sudden we've become like this even tho we aren't quiet inseparable but it was okay.

We stop at my favourite restaurant, I looked at him shocked how did you know?

I've loved you long enough to know much about you

Since when did you start loving me I asked curiously

Almost two years, that's ok for now Ari let's go in

What did he just call me? Ari??? That was new
We entered the restaurant and he pulled a chair for me to sit we ordered our food as we spoke

Ari lemme make my intentions clear I really love you, and if you can't be with me then I swear I won't allow no man be with you

Is that a threat? I asked
Very much he answered

He wouldn't stop staring as we ate and it was really starting to get to me

Oh y-yes I erm let's eat

I smiled slightly

I want us to be in a relationship Lorenzo said firmly I really love you can you please say yes?

This was the first time I've seen him beg, well I erm, ok sure I mean I also love you

We finished in the restaurant and got back into the car he drove to alot of places we celebrated my birthday and celebrated us being officially together

We to the park, had ice cream,went shopping and anything you can think of we walked around hand in hand

The day was way too short I said as we got entered our house, he helde by the waist and kisses me, it felt so magical and honestly even tho it's not the first time it was truly angelic
