A group of advisors argued with one another in the throne room, King Hisashi tried to calm everyone down, but was ignored instead, Prince Izuku on the other hand, leaned over a map of the Calla Kingdom, feeling over the braille and raised lines while a knight placed wooden flags in places Izuku pointed out
After positioning several flags, Izuku turned to the advisors and cleared his throat, he opened his mouth, the knight next to him thinking he was about to speak, only for the prince to pull out a dagger and throw it across the room, barely missing the advisors
The advisors and King Hisashi all looked towards Prince Izuku, surprised by the sudden dagger, "I've pinpointed our boarders weak spots, feel free to review the map" Izuku said, letting the others examine the map
"And you're sure this will stop another attack?" One of the advisors asked, watching as Izuku sat on the floor and petted a stray cat, "as long as you don't fuck with MY layout, yes" Izuku snarked, grumbling when the advisor muttered under his breath, "snarky child"
While everyone looked over Izuku's layout, his father suddenly asked, "so Izu, you got a date to the ball? The one in your honor?" Izuku sighed loudly, letting the stray cat climb into his lap as he answered in a monotone voice
"Even thinking of asking a man who will either view me of a lesser stature for my appearance or treat me like an object to win, to court me during a dance I'm forced to attend, makes me wish I could pluck my eyes out and pour leeches down my bleeding eye sockets"
Hisashi: I pity your future husband
Izu: Don't pity a man who doesn't exist
Rando Knight: . . . You know, leeches are being considered as medicine
Izu: This is why your parents are getting a divorce, fucking Dennis
