Veiled Emotions

CHAPTER-21

Inaya changed into her pyjamas, came back from the closet, and saw Hammad sitting on the bed using his phone. As she was about to lie down, they heard a knock on the door. Inaya and Hammad looked at each other, then Inaya said, "Mein dekhti hoon kaun hai" (I'll see who it is). Hammad nodded his head.

Inaya went and opened the door and saw Ayaan standing there. She let him in and asked, "Kya hua, Ayaan?" (What happened, Ayaan?). Ayaan said, "Kuch nahi, bas tumhari yaad aa rahi thi" (Nothing, I just missed you). Hammad remarked, "Bazu ke kamre mein hi hai tumhari behen, aur aisa kar rahe ho jaisa ki dusri country mein chale gaye" (Your sister is just in the next room, and you're acting like she’s gone to another country). But Ayaan totally ignored Hammad and clung to Inaya.

Inaya said, "Mein theek hoon, Ayaan, tum jaa kar so jao" (I'm fine, Ayaan, you should go to sleep). Ayaan went and sat on the bed, staying there for some time. They all looked at each other, and there was pin-drop silence in the room. Then Hammad said, "Abb bohut hua, Ayaan, jao jakar soo jao, hame bhi sona hai" (That's enough, Ayaan. Go to sleep, we need to sleep too). Ayaan thought for a while, then got up and left the room.

Both Inaya and Hammad lay down to sleep. They both slept, but at midnight, Inaya started dreaming about the kidnapping. Her dream replayed all the moments when those men were lying beside her, touching her inappropriately. She began crying and shaking her head, saying, “Please, please, don’t touch me.” She kept repeating this until Hammad woke up, hearing her voice. He saw her in a very distressing state and knew this would happen because the kidnapping had left a trauma in her mind.

He just took Inaya in his embrace and said in her ear, "**Mein yahan hoon, Inaya. Tumhe koi bhi kuch nahi karega**" (I’m here, Inaya. No one will harm you). He caressed her hair, trying to comfort her, but she continued crying, so he woke her up and said, “See, baby, I’m here with you. No more crying.” Inaya, still sobbing, looked at him and said, "**Wo... wo... wo sab mere bazu lete hue the, mujhe ched rahe the**" (They were all lying beside me, harassing me). She started crying again, and while Hammad felt angry hearing what they had done to her, he stayed calm because he knew Inaya needed him the most. He said, “It’s okay, Inaya, it’s okay. **Mein hoon na abb yahan. Abb koi tumhe aankh uthake dekh bhi nahi sakta**" (I’m here now. No one can even dare to look at you).

He then said, “Come, baby, come here.” He made her sit on his lap and hugged her while she buried her head on his chest, silently listening to his calming words as he called her by all the lovely names. Gradually, she fell asleep. Hammad kissed her forehead, laid her back on the bed, and pulled the duvet over her.

He was about to lie down when he heard a knock on the door. He thought, *Who could be at the door at this time?* He went and opened the door and saw Ayaan. He was slightly annoyed but still asked him, "**Kya hua, Ayaan?**" (What happened, Ayaan?). Ayaan replied, "**Mujhe Inaya ko dekhna hai**" (I want to see Inaya).

Hammad said, “She is sleeping,” but Ayaan insisted on seeing Inaya. He saw that Inaya was sleeping peacefully, but there were tear stains on her face. Seeing this, Ayaan turned towards Hammad and said, "**Please bhai, please Inaya ko mat darao. Wo hamare ghar ki princess hai. Hum sab aaj tak uspe zor se chila ya tak nahi**" (Please, brother, don’t scare Inaya. She is the princess of our house. We have never even raised our voice at her).

Hammad replied, "**Mein use kyun darunga, Ayaan?**" (Why would I scare her, Ayaan?). Ayaan said, "**Wo ro rahi thi. Mujhe pata hai**" (She was crying. I know it). Hammad explained, “Arey, **wo usne bura khwab dekha usliye ro rahi thi**” (She had a bad dream, that’s why she was crying).

Ayaan then said to Hammad, "**Please bhai, take care of her. We love her so much, we can’t see her in pain**" (Please, brother, take care of her. We love her so much, we can’t see her in pain). Hammad hugged Ayaan as he saw he was on the verge of crying and said, “Ayaan, **mein tum sab ko sirf kaam ke liye dara tha hoon. Aur mein Inaya ko kyun darunga? Mein toh usse pyar karta hoon**" (Ayaan, I only scold you all for work. And why would I scare Inaya? I love her). He broke the hug and said, “See, she is sleeping safe and sound. You don’t have to worry about her now; she is safe with me.”

Ayaan looked at Inaya and nodded his head. Hammad then said, "**Abb jakar soo jao aur overthink mat karo**" (Now go and sleep, and don’t overthink). Ayaan nodded and went out while Hammad locked the room. He went near Inaya and lay beside her, taking her close to him and giving her a comforting embrace. He saw Inaya snuggle more into his chest and thought about how much her brothers love her beyond limits. He was happy to see them loving her so much.

Next Morning

Everyone woke up and was sitting in the hall while inaya was still sleeping and Hammad said to humera ammi aap inaya ka khayal rakhiye ga mujhe zara zaroori kaam hai . ( Mom please take care of inaya i have importany work to do .) humera said thik hai beta par jaldi aa jana (ok son but Make sure you come soon )
Hammad just nodded his head

Then hammad called fahad , hamza and ayaan to come with him and Qavi will also go with him as he is his also  assistant .

While going they saw haniya was sitting in the garden so hammad said

Haniya tum inaya ke saath hi raho mere kamre mein usse ek minute ke liye bhi akela math chodo aur agar wo ro rahi hai ho phir mujhe  foran call karo .(Haniya you sit with inaya in my room and makesure you don't leave her alone even for a minute and if she cries so call me immediately .)

Haniya said
Thik hai bhai . ( Ok Brother )

With that all the boys moved towards their cars and sat while hamdan was also staying in their mansion so he also joined them ,and with that they started to go towards their destination which is in between a forest, They all were going to a mission.
