As Fourth, Pahn, and Chokun continued their lunch, the initial tension from the canteen incident began to dissipate, replaced by a more relaxed and engaging atmosphere.
The trio chatted animatedly about their day so far, with Pahn enthusiastically discussing her design projects while Chokun shared amusing anecdotes from his previous year.
Fourth, still adjusting to his new environment, listened with growing interest, feeling increasingly at ease in Chokun's company.
Just as Pahn was describing a particularly challenging design assignment, Fourth's phone buzzed on the table, lighting up with a new message notification. He glanced down, his eyes narrowing slightly as he read the text from his older brother, Jimmy.
Hey, twins! I hope your first day went well. Get ready after classes because I'm taking you both out for a nice dinner to celebrate. You've earned it! See you at home. 😊
A mischievous grin spread across Fourth's face as he looked up at Pahn. Hey, Pahn, looks like Phi Jimmy's planning a dinner for us tonight. You know what that means, right ?
Pahn raised an eyebrow, her mouth full of salad. Oh ? What's that ?
Looks like you've got even less time to get ready. Fourth teased. Considering how long it takes you to pick out an outfit, you'd better start now if you want to be on time.
Pahn shot him a playful glare, narrowing her eyes. Oh, really ? At least I don't need a fashion overhaul every time we leave the house. You're the one who takes forever to decide if that shirt looks 'right' or not.
Chokun, watching the siblings banter with amusement, leaned back in his chair. Sounds like you two have quite the routine.
Fourth chuckled, nudging Pahn with his elbow. I'd say it's more of a full-on fashion crisis. Last week, she spent an hour debating between two nearly identical shades of blue.
Pahn rolled her eyes but couldn't suppress a smile. And I suppose you're the perfect picture of punctuality, Mr. 'I-need-to-check-the-weather-before-I-pick-my-outfit' ?
Fourth smirked. Hey, I like to be prepared. Unlike some people who can't even decide what to wear without a full committee.
Pahn laughed, shaking her head. At least I don't have to rely on my sibling's wardrobe recommendations. Remember that time you wanted to wear sneakers to a formal event? And don't even get me started on your 'fashion forward' choice of socks.
Chokun's laughter joined theirs, clearly enjoying the sibling dynamic. Sounds like you two keep each other on your toes.
Pahn nodded, her eyes sparkling with amusement. You have no idea. Our arguments could probably be considered a full-contact sport.
Fourth grinned. And yet, she's the one who always makes sure I'm not wearing something that looks like I just rolled out of bed.
Pahn raised her glass in a mock toast. To being the fashion police of the family, and to finally getting out of this place before Fourth finds another wardrobe crisis.
