First of all it's an Olympic sport with a huge amount of different branches
Second of all you don't just sit there it's one of the most challenging sports in the world
Third in order to ride a horse properly you need a good connection with your horse and a lot of upper and lower body strength
For my last point here it's also really expensive to own and ride horses I got a really cheap bridle recently for €40 and don't get me started on the stables
