You can see her?!

Ochaco felt bummed about not being able to help again.

She was walking home from another day of "hero school", as Shiro liked to call it, when the feeling overcame her.

They had their first official class with All Might, a mock battle, in which they were split into teams of two. She was partnered with Midoriya, or Deku-kun as she called him, she could still hear her inner hollow laughing.

'Hey! I thought it was cute' she replied to the laughter.

'A bit degrading but, whatever you want to call him, Queen'

In the scenario, their team were the heroes and they would fight against Ida-kun and Bakugo as the villains, the latter of the two making Deku nervous. He explained that the blonde bullied him relentlessly back in middle school, a thought that made Ochaco cringe. She dealt with many bullies, both as Orihime and as her current life so, she knew where he was coming from.

Long story short, he broke his arm again and collapsed, all so she could get to the fake bomb and win.

It made Ochaco frown.

Just how many times was this boy going to break every time he used his quirk?

Her training let her see that he had very little control of it, almost as if he had only just received it, but that couldn't be right. The latest she had ever heard of someone getting a quirk was six or seven. If it turned out to be true, Deku would be a huge outlier.

Bakugo claimed Deku was quirkless during the tests that Aizawa-Sensei put them through.

Given their rocky relationship, it wouldn't be a surprise if he kept his quirk a secret, but they had known each other for a very long time.

How would you keep such a big secret for so long?

Ochaco shook her head.

It was something to think about later. Right now, there was another pit in her stomach about being useless.

She honestly hated it.

She couldn't heal or put up shields to protect her friends. The only thing she was able to do was run, leaving him to fight the enemy alone.

"With how much you think about the guy, you should probably marry him" Ochaco jumped at Shiro standing right behind her, a smirk on her face as she teased her.

"Wha?! I wasn't..." Ochaco stammered and looked away, a blush grew on her cheeks.

"I'm just concerned..."

"Yeah, that kid really needs to work on his control before he ends up becoming a cripple later in life"  Shiro replied bluntly.

She wasn't wrong. Constant breaking of bones could lead to all sorts of problems.

Ochaco nodded.

"Uraraka-Chan!" A voice called her name, causing both girl and hollow to spin around.

It was Kaminari running to catch up with them. He huffed and puffed as he approached.

"Man, you guys are fast walkers. I had to run after you left the school."

"You guys?"

He couldn't, could he?

She and Shiro turned to look at one another before turning back to look at him.

"Yeah, you know, you and your sister you never told me about. Nice to meet you, by the way"

Ok, now he definitely could.

"You can see her?!" Ochaco pointed to Shiro.

Kaminari looked confused.

"Why wouldn't I be able too?"

Ochaco's eyes nearly bulged out of her head.

"Of all the people who can see spirits, it's dunce face"

It wasn't just him though.

After that encounter, she discovered that just about everyone could see Shiro when the two of them walked together.

'They must think she's just a regular person and not a spirit' Ochaco mused to herself as she watched a friendly interaction between the hollow and a random passerby.

Even some of her new friends from high school said hello.

She still kept Shiro a secret from her parents and the majority of her friends.

It was just amusing to know that the hollow was really out of her element.
