Everything gathered outside of Auradon Prep after, the dark night illuminated by fire works thrown in the sky and colorful lights set up on the front steps and stage.
"Oh, yeah, yeah." Scarlett vocalized a she, Mal and Evie stood in the stage, their dresses cut shorter for more freedom. Some boys were hauling the newly crowned prince over their shoulders, bringing him into the stage with them.
"Lets sit it off. Oh, yeah."
"You can make it happen."
"Ohayohay, hey."
"Kings and queens it's our time to rise. Write the book, the story of our lives." Ben sang coolly as friends and other students danced around him in the stage, cheering him on. "This is us taking back the night."
"Ohayohay."
Ben grinned as the crowd parted and Scarlett brushed through them to him. He extended his hand out for her to take.
"Break the spell, we were born this way. Be yourself, forget the DNA." Scarlett smiled as she took his hand, giggling when she on her around his body. "Everybody raise your hands and say..."
"Ohayohay, hey!"
"Sound the alarm get on your feet." Evie strutted out from a group of students. "Let's set it off and rock the beat. Dance till your heart is wild and free."
"Ooh, oh, oh."
Mal, surprisingly, started dancing with Chad as she sang. "Feelin' the power. Let it all out. Like what you see in the mirror, shout. We got the keys the kingdom's ours."
"Ooh, oh, oh. Ohayohay, hey!"
Evie, Doug and Mal joined Ben and Scarlett in the center of the stage, raising their hands in the air as others danced around them. "Let's set it off. Oh, yeah. Start a chain reaction and never let it stop. Let's set it off. Oh, yeah. You can make it happen. With everything you got. Let's set it off."
Scarlett laughed when Ben picked her up by her waist and lifted her in the air before setting her down back on her feet.
"Get ready, set it off. We 'bout to set it off. Get ready, set it off. Ohayohay, hey!"
"It's time to set this thing off. Let's make it happen now." Carlos and Jay came up behind Jane who sat down in a bench, sulking with her head down. They each took a spot beside her. "I'ma make my own future, ignore all the rumors show 'em how passion sound." They took her hands, leading her up to the stage with the rest. "They all told me I should back down. Judgin' me 'cause of my background. Thinkin' 'bout changin' my path now. Nah I ain't going out like that now."
Jay high-fived Carlos who took Jane onto the stage. Jay took a seat on the steps, surprised when Audrey waltzed over to him.
"Feelin' the power let it all out. Like what you see in the mirror, shout." Audrey pulled him up onto his feet, the two sharing a small smirk before joining everyone else.
"We got the keys the kingdom's ours."
"Ohh, oh, oh."
"Let's set it off. Oh, yeah. Start a chain reaction and never let it stop. Let's set it off." Everyone let go and danced in harmony, princesses, princes and Villain kids alike. "You can make it happen. With everything you got. Let's set it off."
Everyone grabbed a partner, dancing around them. "Come on. We 'bout to set it off. That's right. Get ready, set it off. To the left. We 'bout to set it off. Get ready, set it off. We 'bout to set it off. Get ready, set it off. Come on.",
Ben grabbed Scarlett's hands and pulled her over to the steps of the stage. She placed her hand in his chest and as he leaned in for a kiss, she moved her head to the side to prevent it. She grinned playfully before the two darted in opposite directions.
"Three, two, one."
The two met up again in the edge overlooking the stage.
"Oh, yeah." Scarlett belted, smirking when Ben turned to her and danced for her, each looking into the other's irises with a small smirks on their lips
"Let's set this off. Oh, yeah. Start a chain reaction. Never let it stop. Let's set it off. Let's set this off." Ben spun Scarlett around before grabbing her hands once again. "You can make it happen with everything you got. Let's set it off. We 'bout to set it off. Get ready, set it off."
The people on the stage and in the courtyard stopped their dancing, looking up at Scarlett and Ben on the ledge before bowing deeply.
Scarlett and Ben didn't notice as another round of fireworks went off, slowly leaning closer to each other, their foreheads touching before their lips finally met. Scarlett smiled into the kiss on one of Ben's hand laid on her waist and the other caressing the side of her cheek.
When they pulled apart, they both had stars in their eyes. The people below resumed dancing as the music picked up again. Ben and Scarlett faced them, cheering as they threw their arms in the air.
But, Scarlett knew as her eyes reflected a glowing green cat eyes, that this wasn't the end of the story.
For now, she ignored the feeling and hugged herself closer into Ben's side, who nuzzled his face in her hair.
Who would've thought five Villain Kids would fit so well in Auradon and change the way the world works just by a small chance?
