Christen and Tobin invited their National Teammates to join them for some pre-holiday activities. Alyssa drops by on her way to camp, bringing Tierna with her, and Alyssa stays long enough to participate in the first project- Cinnamon dough ornaments.

"Hey, Lys, thanks for bringing Ti on your way to camp." Christen Press stood in her doorway, leaning on the doorframe, as her girlfriend Tobin Heath accepted Tierna's go bag.

Alyssa laughed to herself- Tobin and Christen wasn't really on the way, but AJ hadn't been up to making the trip with Tierna, so Alyssa had come instead. "No problem, Christen, Tobin. I'm glad I could come with her."

"We're glad too. Come on in, we'll be making Cinnamon ornaments to start with."

"Cinnmon ornaments?" Tierna perked up as they followed Tobin and Christen back inside. "Can I make one for AJ?"

"Sure you can, Ti." Christen said affectionally. "As many as you want, it's just the four of us right now."

"Yes!" Tierna grinned, all but dragging Alyssa into the kitchen after their hostesses. Alyssa rolled her eyes.

"I can walk, kiddo. What do we need?" Alyssa asked Christen, as Tobin began sorting through everything on the kitchen counter. Christen picked up the directions she'd printed out for Tierna and Alyssa to share; she and Tobin knew what to do.

"1 cup cinnamon, 1 cup applesauce, combine into a stiff dough, roll out between two pieces of plastic wrap to a quarter-inch thickness, cut out with cookie cutters, and bake at 200 degrees for 2 1/2 hours or until they feel hard--"

Tierna snickered, and Alyssa swatted the back of her head.

"Enough of that, brat." Alyssa said mildly. She knew Tierna was acting up because she missed AJ, but Ti had to settle down. Still, Alyssa didn't have the heart to scold her harshly.

"But it's funny." Tierna smirked, giggling at the unimpressed look on Christen's face. Christen set down the paper.

"We asked you over to make holiday ornaments with us, bratling. I could see about baking something else instead." She threatened, arms folded.

"You wouldn't." Tierna sputtered. "You can't, your knee's hurt."

"Mine isn't." Alyssa said dryly, and Tierna gulped.

"I'll behave, Lys." She said meekly.

Alyssa nodded in satisfaction, turning back to Christen. "She won't be bratting anymore."

"We'll see that she doesn't." Christen said. "Now, let's get to mixing the dough, shall we?"
