[Shadow x Reader] Maybe this is a good thing

{(Y/N) POV♡}

It feels so long since I met Sonic and his friends. If that day had never happened, I would have never met them or...Shadow.

(Flashback to a year ago)

I still remember what happened that night. I was walking home while looking down at my chipped and cracked phone, looking at a group chat with my friends.

(Chat) (These are just random names I have picked out)

[Y/n]: I'm at the meeting spot. {Sent 1 hour ago}

[Polly]: Sorry, plans changed me, and max are going instead. {Sent 56 minutes ago}

[Max]: Yep, yep. {Sent 55 minutes ago}

[Minx]: I just don't feel like going out anymore sorry hun. {Sent 30 minutes ago}

[Y/N]: Nicole, are we still up for meeting? {Sent 6 minutes ago}

[Nicole]: No. {Sent 3 minutes ago}

{(Y/N POV♡}

I turn a corner seeing a bench so I make my way to it and sit down on the cold and chipped painted bench I look at my hands as I clench them thinking >This is the 5th time this month what's going on with them...maybe...no that can't be right there my friends they just have other plans that came up and forgot the date that we all planed yeah that's it< I then feel my phone rumble in my pocket I grumble thinking it was a stupid notification for youtube or something.

But as I looked it was a post from Nicole i tilt my head sideways confused as my thumb automatically presses on the notification forcing it to open and revealing her, Minx, Max, and, Polly all smiling holding drinks and looking at the camera I start to feel a prickly sting slowly charge up in my eyes as I held them back until my eyes glanced at the caption

They ditched me. The prickly feeling started to get worse as tears now blinded my vision my face scrunched up trying to keep my tears in but a sob forced its way out I hunch over finally no longer holding back my crying "Those SNAKES" I sob out not holding back or caring for who or what hear my cries of pain and sadness.

After a small while I wipe my tear filled eyes still letting small hiccups out as I glare at my phone and block the 4 snakes I then get up and make it to a small shop that was radiating loud chatters and light hurting my blood shot eyes a bit but I kept walking in as i enter i see a group wishing that was me with my friends as they all had happy-go-lucky looks on their faces well except the red and black male.

I walk into the sweets shelf as I was looking I feel something run into my leg making me look down seeing a small rabbit that was a cream coloured with some orange spots in her fur along with the same color orange dress that had a white collar and a blue ribbon that has some dust on it as she ended up sitting on the floor from the force of running into my leg I kneel down and look at her "are you okay?" I look concerned at her I then think to myself >how can this day get any worse my friends ditch me and I made a little girl fall< she rubs her head as a small Chao that was blue and yellow and had tine pink wings that they used fly up to her

She smiled at the Chao and then up at me "I'm sorry I ran into you miss" she then gets up dusting off her dress and holds a hand out to me "my name is Cream and this is Cheese" I smile softly at them as I shake her hand "I'm (Y/N) it's nice to meet you Cream and your friend Cheese" Cream the frowned a bit "are you okay miss your eyes are kinda red" I nod "just some drama with my old friends" I sit down as my knees where now hurting and she followed as well "can I ask what happened maybe I can help" she smiled at me my heart clenched at how innocent she was and her kindness seem to know no bounds even to help a stranger I decided to humor her until her one of her family finds her "It's just my old friends ditched me and I finally found out" I look her want wanted to laugh as she puffed her cheeks out looking mad "that's so mean...Wait come meet some of my friends then we can introduce you to the rest of our friends" her expression changed from mad to excited

I weigh my options and decided to meet them not wanting to upset the little bunny she grins and gripes my hand pulling me along as I stumbled and laughed after running around Cream spots 2 female hedgehogs and a bat
"Amy, Kira, Miss Rouge" as Cream called out, getting the attention of the pink hedgehog, the light blue and red hedgehog, and the white bat

Cream pulls me to them and smiles "I met a new friend and I wanted her to meet you all" the 3 females looked at one another them back at me Cream then pointed at each female saying names "That's Amy" she points to the pink hedgehog that had green eyes as well wearing a red and white dress along with red and white knee high boots with heels, 2 golden bracelets on both wrists with white gloves and a red hairband on her head Amy smile and waved "Hi" she was very quirky.

Cream then pointed "That's Kira" the light blue and red hedgehog looked away awkwardly as her gray eyes shifted from me I then get a better look at her as she had a light gray cropped hoodie on with blue shorts and black fingerless gloves along with knee high combat boots that were black, Kira just nods at me giving me the socially awkward vibe

Then Cream turned my attention to the Bat "And this is Miss Rouge" the white bat that wore a powder blue eyeshadow and soft pink lipstick and she was wearing a black jumpsuit on that had a pink heart with it outlined in white that was on her well endowed chest the back of the jumpsuit was opened up for her wings as her shoes and gloves where white with pink on them Rouge smirks and wiggles her fingers as a wave as I was looking at her she gave me the vibe of Jessica rabbit making a faint blush mark my cheeks

Cream then smiled seeing that they all seem comfortable with me being there just then a whine cuts into the conversation with 3 male hedgehogs coming up to us "are you girls done yet its taking soooooo long" the royal blue male said slumping forward but stopped as he spotted me "Whoa your new" Cream grins "Mister Sonic meet my new Friend (Y/N)" Sonic nods at me "Hi I'm Sonic" he nods his head at the white hedgehog that was interacting with Kira "that over there is Silver" Silver then turned his head at the sound of his name and waved at me as I wave back at him with a closed eye smile I then look back at Sonic as he throws his arm around the black and red hedgehog "and this is Shadow" all Shadow did was roll his eyes and shove Sonic off him huffing as he glanced at me I offer a small smile.

(Flashback over)

I look out my window at the gray and gloomy sky as rain hammers against the glass as I close my eyes to the sound feeling relaxed but I open my eyes as I feel arms wrap around waist hugging me from behind as I hear the deep voice of the male I feel in love with "what's got you all dazed love" I open my (E/C) eyes as I meet Shadows crimson coloured eyes as I smiled "just thinking about when I met you and our friends" I turn around in his hold facing him as I lay a soft kiss to his cheek "I'm glad my old friends ditched me that day or I would have never met the most amazing guy in my life" Shadow huffs and smirks resting his chin on my head "Me to love".

(DAMN 1438 words I made this bitch longer than I planned lol but hopefully this was entertaining for you guys to read and let me know what other characters I should write for for now I'm mainly doing the main characters for know like Sonic, Shadow, silver, Knuckles, and so on but if there's a character that you guys want feel free to comment well friends this is where I sign off for the night so I will see you guys in the next chapter.)
