[Sonic x reader] A Knight In Royal Blue

I was walking home in the middle of the night when I was pulled in to a dark lane as i was thrown against the wall I yelped in pain as a sickening pain shot through my bruising back and leg but I decided to ignore it as I looked up at a gray, black, and red robot as fear hit me like a brick as I open my mouth to let out a noise anything to get someones attention to help my eyes widen begging for something or someone to help me until I see a royal blue blur fly past me hitting the robot.

[Sonic's POV💙]

I was running away from Amy as she was once again chasing me like a rabid animal but after a while of running from her I finally made it behind a small hotdog stall as I peek out and start walking around until a strained sound that was close to a scream I think to myself tapping my foot 'What was that? Sounds like a dying duck' I shake my head laughing to myself but lucky for me it was not to far so I start to speed off ready to defend the people who can't defend themselves as I made it to the scene I spotted one of Eggman's robot about to injure a poor defenseless girl as her face turns in pain as her shiny (E/C) gloss over with tears and I speed heading straight at the robot and I curl into a ball ready to spin dash and destroy the robot.

[(Y/N) POV~🌻]

As the royal blue blurred ball reveal itself to be a royal blue hedgehog with mesmerizing emerald green eyes as he stood tall with his red and white shoes with a gold buckle I look up at his face a little fuzzy from the tears welding up in my eyes I give him a hesitated smile that was wobbly from fear as my adrenaline was pumping like mad that I never thought was possible he then stretching a white gloved hand out smirking like a dork
"Well, that could have gone wrong," he laughs nervously before looking at his hand, then back at me. "Are you okay, miss?" His voice was a little unsure. If I heard him, I nod shakily "T-Thanks ummm..." He blinks and grins."OH! I'm Sonic, Sonic the hedgehog" I smile and softly reply "(Y/N)" I then take his hand that was left held out to me he pulls me up like I didn't way a single pound I smile but it was instantly gone as a shooting pain ran and crawled up my leg from my ankle making me fall back down once again sonic gasped and picked me up "Whoa you must really be banged up from that bot huh? No worries, I have a friend that can patch you right up. " he grins and winks "hold on, " and before I could ask what he meant by 'hold on,' he sped off

Sonic then skid to a stop outside a yellow looking house with a plain outside i look at it with a impressed look thinking to myself 'That's some sweet wheels' Sonic pulled me out of my thoughts as he knocked the door as female hedgehog opening the door with a smirk but it was quickly gone at the sight of my tear stained face alongside the pain look i had shown on my face she gasped and quickly stepped aside letting Sonic carry me inside as she closes the door and leading us to a red looking couch Sonic then started grinning at me "(Y/N) you're gonna be okay" i smile up at him from how kind he has treated me Sonic then looked at the light blue and red hedgehog "Kira where is Tails?" she nods to a door "He's in the basement like all ways" Sonic smiled and practically almost ripped the door off its hinges and went down the flight of stairs the female hedgehog that i now learned was named Kira she looked at me and rubs her arm with a awkward grin smiled "Hi...my name is Kira the hedgehog...what's your name?" I smile back at her awkward attempt to make small talk "(Y/N) the (A/T) nice to meet you" (Kira the hedgehog is my Sonic OC :D) she smiled then looked away slowly swaying on her feet to try and pass the awkward moment away but before another second passed Sonic came back with a short yellow fox with two tails came up behind him as he stood in the middle of Sonic and Kira smiling up at me Sonic then grins "(Y/N) this is Tails my buddy that i told you he could help with your ankle" i look at the little fox that waved "Hi I'll make sure your ankle will be okay just let me know if it hurts when i tend to your wound" he said smiling I nod as Kira walks out and then returns with a first aid kit and gave it to Tails he then looks at Sonic and Kira "can you guys wait outside its kinda hard working with a live audience" he rubs the back of his head Kira nods and pulls Sonic out of the room with Sonic chiming in "Sure bud"

"And that should do it your ankle is not dislocated like i though it actually got broken but with it all wrapped up it should heal in a few weeks" he smiles up at me Tails then walks out and returns with Sonic and Kira who was holding a glass of water and a slice of pizza and place it on the coffee table in front of me with Sonic grinning "Kira though you would be hungry so she made you something to eat" Kira blushes embarrassed and gently shoved Sonic "Shut up..." she walks out of the room with Tails following her leaving me with Sonic I lean forward grabbing to slice of pizza nibbling on it and I look at Sonic feeling his eyes watch me "take a picture it will last longer" I smile Sonic laughs heartily "Whoa little (A/T) got fire but anyways so what's the news about your ankle?" I put down the pizza and take a drink of the water "You're friend Tails hought it was a dislocation but it's actually broken but it should heal soon" I grin Sonic smiles softly "hey how about I make it up to you and take you out for food when your ankle heals?" I giggle and blush "Like...a date?" He softly scratches his cheek a small blush forming "Sure!- I MEAN if you want" Sonic started stammering and I could not help but laugh "then it's a date blue" I smile at him.

(Wow, that's so much better than what I wrote when I first started this book, and it's also a lot longer as the first one was like 735 words and this one was 1149 words wow what a big difference)
